Wow, Sergio shot a 13 on the par 5 15th, last year on his final round when he won he shot a 3 on the same hole. What a difference a year makes.

Quite the turnaround!

You have to see the slopes and undulations of the course in person to get a true idea of the severity. TV just doesnt show how trecherous they are.

The hole that really surprised me was 10, couldn’t believe how down hill it is . Also it’s amazing how open the 9th and 18th green areas are when the crowds are not there.

Yeah its weird isnt it. Looking at those greens in isolation they seem to be out in the middle of nowhere.

The swails and undulations of the 8th green and surrounds really took me by suprise as well.

Did you get to any of the practice rounds CC? The "skip it at 16" was a lot of fun.

Was there on the Tuesday practice round Mopsy, didn’t see the skipping though , somebody did have a hole in one that day though, actually the slope to the left of the 16th pond surprised me too. Stood as close as I could to where Tiger chipped in on 16 ...... unbelievable .

The hole place just blows your mind.

It's on my bucket list CC and Mopsy.

Your picks of Kuchar and Leishman both had a good round. You can still get $17 on Kuchar winning and $31 on Leishman, pretty good value i reckon.
I've taken a multi paying $3.18 for Spieth and McIlroy to both win their group tomorrow.

Put it straight on top tigerman I highly recommend going on a practice day, so easy to get around and you can take photos, in saying that it’s harder to get through there security then it is through customs.

I haven’t had a bet on either so there’s a good chance one will win

It is quite stunning isn't it. So well organised and everyone so friendly and respectful.

It's a shame our sporting venues don't take a leaf out of Augusta's book in regards to food and drink pricing too!

Yep get there Tigerman it's a phenomenal experience! So much to take in. The Sunday roars that reverberate throughout the course are insane!

Yep in toothpaste form.

Bloody hard to pick a winner from here, actually feels like today was the third round, can’t see any of the leaders clearing away and all the guns are packed behind to come hard, should be a super weekends golf

Yep still very wide open.

Reed has putted lights out today, can't see him maintaining that.

Great to see a fellow western Victorian put himself right in the thick of the action.

Promises to be a fantastic weekend as you say

I know the USPGA have featured groups in their tournaments which is annoying, but they have out done themselves by only showing one from some groups and two from other groups. I have said it before, Australia's golf coverage leaves the Americans for dead.

His a Tiger too.

About 20years ago a mate of mine moved to Warrnambool and said there’s a 14 year old kid I’ve just played with who will be a star and we have to get him for pennant, bloody Commonwealth had already got him signed .

How’s the charging pack Johnson, Mcilroy, Thomas, Speeth, Bubba, Rose and even Rahm, I’ll moz Stenson from here

Quite frustratingly, this has always been the case at the Masters.

Tiger l get, the interest in his return has been huge. But if you aren't within 3 of the lead you rarely get shown during the coverage. And it will only get worse come Sunday.

On another note, last year the Foxtel coverage had "press red," where you could switch to the coverage at Amen Corner and holes 15 & 16 no matter who was on those holes. Disappointed it isn't available this year.

If you have a VPN, go to the CBS site and you can watch Amen Corner and 15/16.

Given we have about three televised tournaments a year that is even more amazing

It’s getting good and we are still only in the third round, Putter going cold for Lieshman it appears. Finding myself barracking for anybody but Reed.

Hope Leishman can get things back on track on the back nine. Cameron Smith is playing well, has only had 4 bogies all tournament, he's just not getting enough birdies.
