GOAT Day thread - TIGERS Vs wees & poos hawkers

I'm really upset at the effort today. Most disappointed I have been since being a tiger fan.

Hawks players outnumbered us at every contest, they spread defensively and offensively, and we didn't.
They ran and ran and we just did the bare minimum.

Dusty deserved so much more from the playing group and coaches.
I know it's an easy excuse but I do wonder if there was a bug going around? Dusty gets up for important games and barely fired a shot in his own 300th? That doesn't add up. We've been building up over weeks and haven't lacked run and our clearance numbers have been good. To see such a massive drop in this game doesn't make any sense to me.

There's a few floppers, and head duckers playing for the Hawks.
They outplayed us tonight, but there's some soft *smile* amongst them.

Broad was one of our better player todays Zips.

Onme of few who actually put in and competed.
Yeah Nah.
The lot of them played crap.
I like Campbell because he is 60kg of nothing but he busts his ass.
Some of the others are cardboard cut-outs of footballers.
I was watching on TV and I didn't see Graham Mansell and Sony

Anyone else feel like that was his last game? The build up to it and even the performance plus the end bit makes me think it was. I wouldn’t be surprised if he drifts off into the sunset.

I think it was gratitude. He had to be moved by his Tiger family turning up in such numbers. I reckon he handled himself really well.

He handled Jack's questions well.

It might be time to think about a Breust-like sub role. Scale it back as he clearly can't run out a full game anymore.

May have been ill or injured tonight? If not he's got a bit of work to do to get fitter.

James Silly 881 metres gained. Any chance someone could have paid attention to him. Gun player

Refresh with the bye, and see what happens... not exactly covincing.

Can’t say I’ve watched all the other players after their 300th , but not sure many walk around thanking the crowd like that

McAuliffe first touch no panic ..................... might be a handy bloke to play the game from the first bounce.
How’s this whacky idea. If he plays from the fist bounce and gets tired we could sub him for a less talented player who could play less game time!! Wow

After last week's win I said our future looked bright but now I'm not so sure about our list, both experienced and inexperienced players. Tonight we lacked enough players with basic skills to take contested marks and execute kicks that find a team mate. Bolton was out of sorts then unable to contribute after his heavy knock which looked like another concussion, so why did he stay on for last qtr? Most of the guys who played well last week were invisible or well beaten tonight. How does that happen?
