Looking through the list these are the guys I think may be put on the table during the trade period in order of currency value..

Foley - One year back from injury. Still a good player but may look to cash in elsewhere. Would attract interest.
Edwards - Perhaps one of the SA clubs may show interest and could be used to land a more pressing requirement.
Connors - Decent showing in '10 but injury troubles this season.
Jackson - Has had a poor season but shown more previously.
Graham - We're on the lookout for a new ruck. Where does that leave gus? May draw some interest.
Morton - Not a Dimma favourite. Third time lucky?
White - Has limitations but may attract a bite as part of a package.
McGuane - Unlikely but may go home to the GC.
Thursfield - Extremely unlikely.
Tuck - Remote at best.

Not exactly an All Australian team is it. The only ones that any other team will value are Foley, Edwards and Jackson. The rest are delisting material

Morton, white or McGuane might attract some interest for the right club.

Unlikely to be All Australian when talking trades unless it is player initiated. Agree with your selections though.

In all honesty, as much as I would hate to lose Foley, he's the only one that might land us Dimma's "big fish". The rest will land us ones Dimma will need to kiss and release I'm afraid.

This one is out of left field but if Sheedy wanted Houli so GWS could win over the large muslim comminity in western Sydney and was prepared to offer one of the four seventeen year olds on offer do we take it?

Basher referred 70 new members to us and has played very well this year.
Sheedy can go find his own Muslim player and leave Basher alone..

Would be madness to trade Foley - we haven't got enough good midfielders as it is.

Foley for pick 1 in the mini-draft would be irresistible, Foley for Clarke would be hard to refuse, Foley for Mitch Clark would be a no-brainer, Foley for a top 10 pick in this year's draft would be hard to knock back.

btoz 01 so if Yeager O,meara was on offer as a trade for Houli you would knock it back?

If we are talking genuine trade bait the RFC has bugger all.

For a serious trade Foley is the best bait also id seriously put Nahas up with his currency rising this year, may get us a top youngster that will offer more or picks that would allow for the club to seriously contend for a 17 y/o from GWS or a serious trade in such as a Zac Clarke.

Hopefully Edwards has currency with the SA clubs.

Connors maybe but id keep Connors ahead of Edwards or White but thats just me give him one more bite of it in 2012.

McGuane, White, Morton, Thursfield, wont attract 2 bob if we could get 3rd rounders for em then thats probably a win, Tuck maybe a last gasp proposition for GWS, but id keep Tucky ahead of Jackson, White and Edwards.

McGuanes complete dudness was highlighted by his native Gold Coast with only one older Key Defender in Bock not even having a go at him when putting together an underaged undersized list.

From what I've been told from a workmate who knows friends of the family, part of the offer for Nahas from GWS was to appeal to the ethnic community up there. They are reportedly offering double what we are prepared/can offer him.

Apparently the Bombers are keen on him as well.

Great done deal - Nahas the limited for Jaeger O Meara who apparantly can walk on water.

Im sold done.

Foley the only one with genuine currency I reckon. Morton, Connors have talent but may be perceived as damaged goods at 24 & 23. Perhaps Edwards at a pinch, but would much prefer to keep him than trade for a speculative draft pick. Jackson might get us a pick ~40...probably better to keep him at this stage.

I read somewhere that Port have an interest in Angus - hopefully that's true

I honestly can't see why anyone would be interested in Angus when a middle of the road club like the Tigers are trying to recruit someone to replace him.

I reckon after getting Rodan and Shultz off us, Port quite fancy our discards.

Yeah when you lay it out there's not a lot on offer. Still you never know, we worked some magic last trade period.
One man's trash can be another man's trash.
