Even at 700k it's only 300k more than Soldo. Given we could have stitched this up with pick 31 & given a guy like Lloyd Meek is going for a mid second rounder, I'd say it was close to the bargain of the draft. When you consider guys like Stef Martin & Goldy are mid 30's and still required players, taking on Grundy whilst still in his twenties is a sound investment.
Soldo is not on 400k. He signed for three years on the back of the knee. It'd be under or around 300k per year.

I think the deal is better without Soldo included, let's just see what picks are left on the table.

Who's good for picks 53 & 63 Bull?
Knobel & Verrall would be good investments, I think Binns might just scrape in but probably not. That's just outside of the Lemmey range. I haven't done in depth analysis on the second tier mids but I'll have a look.
