Game day v #lolNorf

After expecting a few holding the ball decisions early that were deemed ball ups, I thought the umpires were a lot fairer with the holding the ball last night , not sure if that’s what SHocking wants , however imho it was just a fairer umpired game then last weeks, I’m might be old school but reward the player who wants the ball, *smile* I hate second to the ball been rewarded

Gerard: "Well I couldn't agree more Robbo, and If the AFL are serious about protecting shoulders getting brushed with elbows then MRO simply must make an example of Grimes."

Camera pans to Robbo, who starts tapping his pen and scribbling on a blank piece of paper, perhaps imatating people who can write. He then looks at Gerard and raises his voice.

"IF THE AFL HAVE ANY INTEGRITY AND THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT LIGHTLY BRUISED SHOULDERS I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW GRIMES GETS AWAY WITH THIS. IF I WAS IN THE MRO GERARD, I'D SEND A STRONG MESSAGE BY GIVING HIM 4 WEEKS"

Gerard nods on in agreement, with a concerned look on his face, perhaps due to his co host's mental state.

Yeah I'm with you @Mr Brightside .... tho still a bit confusing ump to ump, game to game.

Btw.... Broady has the best technique going. .. if you wanna make it as obvious as possible that you're attempting to get rid of it (but have no intention of doing so) pretend to punch the *smile* outta the footy!

They did also manage to add another stat to Hardwick’s CV. First time he’s held a team scoreless for the first quarter. It’s not a win for them, but it is a win that they had a hand in.

Don't laugh you lot. This come true. Christian would love nothing better than to rub out Grimes, Aarts and Dusty and his day will be made.

We can also thank every other recruiter in the country for allowing consensus top-10 pick Alex Whatsis to slip to pick 18, behind such luminaries as Cale "Better Than Cotchin" Morton (hai Phanto, hope you're well), Jarrad Grant (Scotty Clayton loves em skinny), David Myers, Rhys Palmer, Lachie Henderson, Patrick Veszpremi, Jack Grimes and Matthew Lobbe.

It's actually his first scoreless quarter overall. In the same period, all other teams have held the opposition scoreless except GWS and the Bulldogs. (Essendon and Gold Coast one each.)

Historically last few years most teams do better than Tigers in these areas so I think 'wins' needs to be used in context. North were clearly outplayed. I'm not counting my chickens yet, we haven't played most of the current top 8 yet, but it's a hell of a lot better watching last night's game than the trash we've dished up the rest of the season so far.
