Game day v #lolNorf

Were we that good or were they that bad? --- A little from column A and a little from column B.

Worst performance I can remember by a North team against Richmond, except maybe the 2009 game with Wallace on borrowed time which was a decent team on paper. They usually find a bit extra against us, no matter how they're travelling.

This year is almost a direct copy of last year.
Dropped a couple in a row, got a bucket load of injuries, then regrouped and held things together till the troops were ready to go.

Realistically, im not craving any of our injuried players to come back. O want to see what our kids bring to our game.
Eggy was beautiful coming off half back. Calm and collective.
Bolton, Maurice Rioli part 2.
Chol. Unbelievable Tall and Mobile
Balta, superb down back.
Umleash the kids, Caddy goes out now time to see Dow or Cd

What was most pleasing was the energy and the effort. Often when players marked someone was streaming by to offer a quick continuation of play. More tackles were sticking and more often than not North players were under the hammer as soon as the got the ball. This was non existent a few weeks ago.

Sure North weren’t great, buy the Tiges didn’t make it easy for them either.

I heard Rhyce Shaw saying in his press conference that despite the performance they had some winso_O now am I the only one that thinks that's delusional?

They actually had more dispoals, more free kicks, more clearances, more centre clearances, more contested marks. That’s a few wins.

The only win they had is that they were very fortunate not to take our mantle of being the most recent club to remain goal-less in a game.

They have a stat for everything these days.
Have they got one for broken tackles?
Because im with you we tackled with intent from the first bounce, but there quite a few broken tackles.
Rioli efforts on the half forward line was really weak.

what do you think of the reports?
Grimes, high contact, low impact?
Dusty low contact, low impact?

They should both get thrown out but you don't know with Christian.
Clueless.
Robbo will go after Grimes.
'Elbows are Elbows Gerard, Grimes went in there with his elbow and he made contact with Wood's face"
What do you think Gerard?

Not sure there should be any connection between the scoreboard and the free kick count?

I'm also not sure about the winning team winning the counts, are there stats that support it? I would have thought there's logic that when you win you are first to the ball etc but maybe that leads to more frees against as well? Looking at this round and last round it seems more losing teams win the count.

Sometimes I think it can be a reflection of your aggression , when our pressure game goes up , we tend to live closer to the edge of the law ,

Not that im saying they were all warranted
