GAME DAY Tiges V Giants

thats the thing, how can you plan when they can change rules the night before the first bounce?
I'd feel dirty changing game style just to succeed at standball. It's horrible to watch.

After the bye we've been as bad as we were in 2016, In fact we weren't very good before the bye either. Can't recall a worse season from a reigning premier. We've been bottom four, maybe worse, since the bye.

We need a real injection of midfield talent and a new game plan to get back up the ladder next year. We are getting destroyed in the midfield and in clearances and quite frankly Dimma has looked all at sea for most of the year.

We also need to sort out our ball movement into the forward line. It is bush reserves level.

New coaches probably needed. Era finished and he has had no idea how to coach a game plan that relies on hitting targets.

Whether Dimma stays or not we have to make big changes. Too many players on the way out or decline. No stars coming through.

Vlastuin kicks it out of a pack and it lands in the lap of a GWS player.

That sort of night.

Cotch is just terrible with his delivery
He could never play at half back. Can’t kick over a jam tin and can’t hit a target. His best football is in the contest. He’s not a loose man in defence type.

Not only midfield needs fixing but so do our rucks. We can't have Nank as the A grade all the time. Others have to start working hard during summer and next season to step up.

Can we just man up the loose man in defence. Just once? Every. Single. Week.

Full of respect for the guy but that is a pathetic act. He lay there and didn't bother to try and knock the ball away and I suspect it is because he is being tagged and has the brazen bits.
Fair enough. I think your use of the word pathetic is a bit more loose than mine.

My requests for next year
- can we not draft midgets
- can we recruit an ex Melbourne Storm player for tackling technique practice
- can we recruit players who can hit targets rather than speedy types who can quickly get from A to B to guard acreage but are not gifted with skills
- mids, mids, mids
