GAME DAY - Tiges v Dogs

Lots conspired against us but it was stuff we control that let us down. We didn’t have a plan for rain and our kicking efficiency was dire at times. I think our kicking led to the over hand balling. Guys lost confidence in their ability to find targets. I’d love to know what our focus was over the summer.

Such an outcome business - kick that one just before half time and don’t get that shocking free against in front of goals and we are just banking 4 points and finding our best team.

Instead the sky is falling.

The graham 50m does my head in too. Just tell
him to come back 5cm like they do everywhere else.
Agree 100%. I actually liked the way we played in the dry - it was just dumb to try it in the wet!
Got the usual reaming by the cheats!

Or 0.5cm's. Looked like he ran directly to where the mark was taken.

Tell you what though, the Dogs are the biggest pretenders you will ever see.

They annihilated us in centre clearances and stoppage clearances and just got over the line.

Their backline is bottom 4 in the league. Their midfield must simply completely dominate to even be a chance to win.
Hence the floggings the Deez have handed them in recent times and the floggings the Tigers used to hand them.

Yeah. Outside of a ten minute patch, we couldn't score.

Play Riewoldt tonight and we win.

Dumb selections.
Mmm. Only saw the last quarter and yeah, didn't look like scoring.

It might pay off later in the year or it might cost us.

Yes, we were poor.
Yes, questionable selection didn't help us
Yes, Sampson is very disappointing in the wet .

But they got GIFTED 2 goals from pathetic inconsistent, borderline cheating umpires and we lost by 5 points.

Call it out Hooch. AFL needs a *smile* rocket. They can't umpire us any worse. Nothing to lose now

Another loss by less than a goal. Same *smile* as last year. Seems we haven’t learnt too much.

Team appears to have lost its hunger.

To many excuses here umpires this and the outs we had blind freddy can see we're struggling skills poor , disposal , pressure and the poor decisions on the ground.Match committee all over the place resting players in rd 4 lol if there not good enough to play on from rd 4 they should have retired simple and get fresh blood on the list smelled of arrogance to me.Dimma is carrying to many players past it

Only change I would have made considering weather would have been Ryan for Jack but Kudos to selectors for giving him a crack.
Frustrating that for 20 minutes we looked like the bees knees and than like a tap it's turned off.
Strange team at the moment.
Capable.of anything but held back by "something"

We played a stack of kids. And most of them were ok!

Future is bright.

But that *smile* free kick against Vlastuin will not be called in ANY other game this round.

But it's always called against us

Those 3 x last free kicks resulting in 2 x dogs goals were dubious decisions
