Bang on, me too.I’ve been a supporter of Miller for many years as I thought he had all the tools but just needed some more intent and aggression.
I hoped the intent and aggression would come with confidence but I’ve given up.
If I’m singling out anyone last night it’s him. He was insipid. In a game where we just needed our remaining talks to contribute he was pathetic. Just needed him to halve contests… he couldn’t.
I was really looking forward to the opportunity that was presented to him last night but he left me completely exasperated.
I’m not sure I can watch another game when he plays… if he doesn’t care… why should I.
Ryan was equally as frustrating but he’s had less opportunity, however all he had to do in the forward line last night was get BOTH arms up and bring the ball to ground in FRONT of the contest to give our crumbers a chance.
With few other big men playing, he had the chance to assert himself and affect the game. Instead, he contributed nothing.Bang on, me too.
He lost me last night. Timid.
Yes it was a really poor game from Miller last night; extremely poor. Timid is the exact word to describe it. That lack of effort won't cut it; not sure you come back from that.I’ve been a supporter of Miller for many years as I thought he had all the tools but just needed some more intent and aggression.

Broad has 1 more game to missA 10-day rest.
We should have Shorty "It's Yer Birthday" and "Cans" Broad to return.
We have missed the champion defenders.
We should be 3-1-1.
An upset against the Cheesy Dee Platters.
Unfortunately, yes. If he played for the Cats he would have been back next week with their ‘good blokes’ discount.Broad has 1 more game to miss
I don’t agree we’ve taken the hawthorn approach. We’ve got 5 or so players in there under 20 games that’s part of the future. It’s a lot of changes to the 23 including a new midfield. Now we have new ruck and forward setup. It’ll take time for everyone to gel and understand each other’s strengths and limitations. We have zero confidence presently and playing like it. I hate that analogy of changing tyres while the car is moving but that’s what we’re doing.Hawks were our blueprint with the ageing stars and trying to top up with OMeara and Mitchell etc. We are going in the exact same trajectory. In hindisght we should have learnt from their mistakes. Cut harder the last 2 years and drafted more Gibcus' and less Browns'.
Think even the most one eyed supporters can see we are nowhere near it at this stage regardless of injuries. Its the game plan and structure, ill discipline and lack of composure that is telling.
From what im seeing i think Dimma has tried to tinker with the gameplan a little too much and has confused the entire system. We have cattle that needs minimum instructions and a very basic plan. Gone back to his pre 2017 days of overthinking everything. Unfortunately also dont think we have the assistants atm that can help turn that around.
Unless the stand rule is abolished just not sure Dimma is the man that can take us fwd any longer.
Reality is the signs have been there since 2021. Our best players after 3 flags and ageing legs have lost that absolute hunger to succeed. Cotchin the perfect example. He is not playing in 2023 to win another flag. He is playing to get to 300 games. Can almost guarantee he retires right after his 300th.
Hes earnt it but it does come at a cost.
Had nine players with under 25 games against Sydaknee, way to many to be able to expect a consistent four qtr game. Simply need to keep pushing as much game time as possible into our squad of youngsters n cop whatever happens this year. We're gunna need a few of them to be able to take over positions by seasons end, not just fill a hole for a week or two.I don’t agree we’ve taken the hawthorn approach. He is a good player but it doesn’t help when we hardly had a player goal side of him all night.Papley is one hell of a player.
Think Bakes started on him before moved & Papley then proceeded to lead all our following decorated defenders on a merry dance.
Sometimes you've just got to say too good.
Speed of the ball coming into the Swans forward line maybe TripleS? Swans certainly smashed us in centre clearances (19 to 11 or something). Assuming each of their centre clearances led to an inside-50 then they are 6 on 6, 8 times more than us.I don't get how our forwards are constantly double teamed yet our opposition never seems to get that treatment.
Papley needed a couple on him.

Also, Papley is a gun. Annoying and dislikeable as an oppo for sure but I'd love him to bits if he was in our team.
The way he played in the second half last weekend he needed 4 taggers.
