Rioli playing like a fraud - awful effort

Never mind our injuries, we aren't winning anything playing with half a forward line.

Suns were unreal with a team of kids. Planned well, played well, only had three (shortened) quarters in them.

A few of our lesser lights stood up.

More of the same awaits next week with Caracella’s inside knowledge.

"Jack Lukosius was outstanding in the first half with 13 disposals and 478 metres gained - the latter being the most by any AFL player at halftime this season."

Who was he playing on? That is a huge effort in a half for metres gained.

Let’s not undersell the Suns.

They had good form coming in without winning.

They set up very well defensively.

Happy to get the 4 points and move on.

Having said that we do have much to work on.

He was very good but he takes all their kickouts, and always goes long. He will be a gun though, he's an excellent kick. He was pretty much playing as the spare down back though I think.

Take the win.
Positives: Marcov, kmac, jack finding the footy.
We won despite carrying 6 absolute passengers. Very very lucky

That was hard work; real hard. The only real positive is grinding out a win after playing probably our second worst game of the year; especially the first half.

It was that ugly you'd normally just go "burn tape and move on". But I don't know; we've somehow got to work out a way to combat the flooding tactics of other teams. If I'm Worsfold I'm spending hours watching that game this week and rolling out the same game plan in Darwin.
