GAME DAY Tigers V Pies

I suppose for all of us it's anger in our heads when losing games like this, but the players still have 3 from 4 flags in their heads and these losses should start washing that ego out. Looking forward to next season with new regulars. The start of our 2nd coming.

Admittedly, I've become sick of hearing the media calling us the reigning champs.

He refuses to attack the ball in the air. More interested in trying to get body contact.
And stage. And whinge. Shouldn’t be going on. Selfish decision. Poor management by the RFC. Unless they know we are losing CCJ?
jacks been a great of the game but he’s done. That last qtr effort running towards goal started the rot. He was tired. It’s round 16. How could he compete in finals?

Whilst disappointing we have to be realistic.

Missing Soldo and Nank is hurting us around stoppages. Chol is simply not good enough.

Missing Prestia,Edwards and Lambert around those stoppages adds to the problem.

Then consider we are playing inexperienced kids in RCD, Dow, Naish and a fading Cotchin in the midfield and it’s not hard to see why we get slaughtered at stoppages and the spread.

The backline held up well, but as the mids tired missing Balta, Vlaustin, Houli and Broad was always going to tell at some point.

You need luck in the AFL, especially with injuries. It just hasn’t been our year In this regard.

We have no choice but to keep playing the kids, we will be a better club for it moving forward.

Perfectly summed up Mopsy. It'll be interesting to see how the club treats the last six games of the season

Aarts continues to make crucial errors, he's been doing it for weeks in the same half forward area.
Nearly every time it's resulted in a goal the other way.

Hate saying this but Dimma sans Carra and Leppa is being shown for the average coach he is.
I've been questioning this chaos rubbish since 2019 and now it shows as an enemy to us. Time to play proper football with proper ruckmen and proper midfield.
I know we are all disappointed but posting this about our game plan that won us 3 flags and calling a triple premiership coach average ?
I’ll take our premiership coach and the 3 flags !!!

The midfield just can't run defensively anymore. We got killed on the spread by a very poor team. A lot of pain ahead. I am not sure RCD will ever build a tank. He was non existent when the Pies had the ball.
Most of our team were non existent when the Pies had the ball in the last quarter and a half

Well, some of us have been calling this for weeks, we've been cooked since that last quarter against West Coast. I was there today and was totally unsurprised at the capitulation, Collingwood were only behind until then because of bad conversion. us in it through bad conversion.

To make matters worse got in an argument with a Pies fan upset at Richmond fans calling for frees, like he'd never been to a football game before.

Good to see Stack out there at least and Bakes did well up forwards. Can't think of much else positive right now.

Oh I'm going to have a single malt now. That's a consolation.

It works fine, we just can’t do the running required. Stand rule means we have to defend deeper; reduced rotations makes it harder again. We saw it with the WLWL pattern earlier. No longer sustainable.
I now feel that the reduced rotations is a greater evil than the ‘stand’ rule, especially for a high pressure running side (like the Tiges used to be).

The kids were stuffed by the second half.

Who’s idea was it to put clown shoes on the players in the last quarter?
