After seeing that game today I would like to have a dig at some people who post a lot of negative stuff about our drafting
We keep on hearing about how we stuffed up the draft. “So and so club got player x at pick y, how come we overlooked him?”
Shai Bolton was pick 29 !!!!! He was also our first pick that year as we used our first rounder on Prestia.
And Noah Cumberland was pick 43!! A Brisbane lions academy player kicking 5 against the lions
And Tyler Sonsie was pick 28
Enormous credit to our recruiters. There are a few others as well I reckon. I think we may see the emergence of Samson Ryan next year, a pick 40 also from the lions academy

Most Peoples’ emotions are completely outcome based. Everyone sucks if we lose and everyone is awesome if we win. We are clearly not where we should be on the ladder (about 5 spots too low) so there are a lot of things we are doing right as you point out.
If Brisbane take some of those late chances and we lost by a kick again everyone would have sucked as evidenced by the posts halfway through the game.
One of the exciting views during the team song was watching Judz's eyes in awe and licking his lips in the background. This kid's pumping with energy.
