I just don't understand why we can play two halves of footy so differently. It is not just this game but so many this season. The second half tonight shows the talent and drive is there but the guy's need a halftime squib up their backsides to realise they can play

Or the more experienced players need time to warm up and get their joints moving in this cold weather. I know how they feel every morning.

I do, before 1/2 time I booked our Sept at the Tawonga caravan park with other infamous PRE Enders, just cancelled my booking.

On cancelling, lady at the caravan park said ‘bloody Richmond supporters - always go to early’

We seemed to get a better run in the second half. Some pretty cruicial decisions (Balta push on line/Sonsie high on wing/Zorko HTB/Vlastuin high) that we sometimes don't get.

Then again, Cumberlands first goal, just sayin.

The luckiest decision we got all day was Cumbo not being pinged HTB for his first goal.

Maybe, but shouldn't that be a key feature of our game - brief yet intense battles of strength and skill?

It was great to watch, and would also have been great to watch if a Lion's player had done something similar.

The guy with the ball should be given the chance to flex his muscles and do something constructive with it.

In my view, it was a fantastic few seconds of footy.

I hope the media go after Robinson for that miss the way they’ve gone after our blokes, because that was the moment where he could either won it or lost it for the Lions.

I am certainly not one to look at umpires too much, but that missed 50 when the Brisbane bloke tripped Vlastuin from the mark was right in front of Stevic. It was mind-numbingly bad.

I don't even think it was HTB. Tackled as soon as he got it (no prior, arms weren't free to dispose the ball) then eventually brought to ground, they didn't keep him wrapped up so he got up and kicked a goal. What was illegal about it?

Another *smile* weak performance by dopey joe Daniher. And captain dorko. Daniher is a culture killer. 3 goals in first qtr (a soft free and lucky bounce) followed by nothing. Not a yelp until he missed an important shot. Did he hit any packs? God he’s soft. No player does less with his talent. Fraud.
