Game day Tigers v Bombers.....the headless chooks

In the last few weeks, Essendon have scored 76 points vs Collingwood and 95 vs Sydney and Collingwood are arguably the best defensive team in the comp. We defended turnovers very well tonight its just centre bounces where there was no pressure on the ball carrier that left the defence exposed and a few d50 stoppages.

Yeah but the point was Gibbo was hardly a liability. Took a nice confidence-boosting mark in the last quarter too.
I hope it builds his confidence, spook
Gibcus has dropped off form from earlier in the season.
Need him cherry ripe and switched on in the finals. He'll have some big roles to play.

He's but a stripling, BT. Ideally he'd be playing VFL finals but we play what's in front of us.

I see we’re using Sam Lonergan as one of our runners. Was doing a fair bit of coaching and instruction out there and not just messaging.

Over doing it a bit for the taxi basher aren’t they ?
When it comes to sportsmanship to opposition I occupy the middle moral high ground. Other than 194 games is there something about Hurley's character or career that deserves bipartisan admiration ?

None whatsoever. My son asked why he was being chaired off, had he played 300 games, did he win a Brownlow etc..I tip my hat to what he overcame to play again and was happy to clap him off the ground, but like many Bummer players he was a good ordinary player pumped up to legend status. Also told my son, no one over celebrates like the Bombers do.

And if say Broad retired next year I would stand and applaud long and hard but if there was no guard of honour by the opposition of the day I wouldn't be screaming on here

He obviously knows what he’s talking about but the tone and inflection of his voice is unbearable.

He could be reading out the power ball winning numbers a day in advance of the draw and you wouldn’t be able to stomach listening to it.

Needs hardcore elocution training.
Doesn't say much for a Xavier education.
His old man has done better in the elocution stakes off a year 10 exit from Dimboola High.

Ground announcer said he was a 2 time premiership player, so there's that...
