Game Day - rnd 16 vs Brions at the Gabba 2023

Brisbane have been much too tough in the clinches. Nothing in attack and the midfield smashed. Just haven't been up for the fight at all.

Miller isn’t a forward or ever will be. Then why ask him to play on an intercepting defender in Andrew’s who peels off him repeatedly because he knows Miller can’t hurt him offensively.

Ryan looks infinitely better in the ruck than he does forward. His lack of body strength & contested overhead ability (which I hope improves) hinders him. Who knows if he’ll ever have forward smarts.

It then defaults back to Jack who’s struggled in recent weeks.

Highlights our dearth of key forwards. Nothing at VFL level apart from speculative players like Bauer or Nyuon.

Wouldn't matter what forward line we had tonight. 63 inside 50s to 34 is a massacre.
