Game Day - Richmond v Geelong Preliminary Final

Maybe he thought he was out fishing or doing his Saturday morning fishing show with his mates at SEN Bullarto!!!

Yep, waiting. May as well now do a half pike with somersault off the boat now ... and most likely land with a bellywhacker.

Have they found the diver yet?
Hasn’t been seen since half time.

Fair enough. Probably easier to just ignore than start the 'us vs them call out and apologise' flame war.

Most likely, I will have to use the ignore button for the first time in all these years.
Not expecting apologies, however. Just would prefer that people desist from such abuse.
But then again I have always been a bit of an idealist about people changing their ways when there is sufficient concern being voiced.

Feeling a bit dusty this morning.

Just when I thought I couldn't be prouder of this club, they pull that out. Playing some season worst footy in the first half, Dusty hobbling, Cotch gets a knock, Graham arm dragging along the ground. Nah, stuff all that, we lift and make them look second rate in the second half.

Jack Graham will go down in footy folklore. Kicked 3 in a GF after 7 or so games and then the courage he showed last night, when he must have known he was no chance to.play next week, what an inspiring effort. Remarkable.

Go Tiges

Think I am going to hit the ignore button on GF day. Who needs your offensive nonsense on such a magnificent day to be a Richmond member/supporter.
Don't need to hit ignore. Just don't read the game day thread until after we've won. Then reading some of the negative dribblers in full wet knickers mode is hilarious.

Don’t know when the last time Done.

Stats gurus will let us know.

Been down by 21+ at half time in 43 games under Hardwick. This was the second win (the other was v Sydney in Sydney 2015 - down by 30).

Overall the club has won 29 times from 444 games in this position (7%).

3 from 17 in finals (1973 prelim, 1995 semi).

Apparently still at the bottom of Corio Bay looking for sunken treasure.
All he'll find down there are the leftovers of International Harvester, Ford n Alcoa. Oh and maybe a couple of dodgy old toadies searching for bait.

That's a tip I will follow, Maso.
Plus, I will be too involved during the GF to be tuned into PRE.

Thanks LTRTR.

Would you know what the stat is in PF at all?

Wonder how many teams have come back from that deficit to win?

That free kick Dangerwanker got before half time was the biggest dive I’ve ever seen. Bigger than Rance’s last year yet not one single commentator made any mention of it. Just staggering the double standards of the football media. Rance and Grimes were ostracised for staging yet not one single comment on Dangerwanker.

Unbelievable

Yep.

We are public enemy number 1 I don't know how we ended up there but we are.

Had a look at west coast forum last night they were wanting the Cats to win even after they knocked them out made no sense to me.

Even others going for Collingwood dead set it's bizarrro world stuff.

Didn't realise this , I know each quarter is 20mins plus time-on but if each quarter was 1 minute shorter Geelong would have kicked 3 less goals. They kicked 1 in 1st with less than a minute to go and 1 in 2nd and 3rd with 30 seconds to go. Really when you analyse deeply we were dominant.

PS the rain we were expecting originally last night is now coming down with force.
