By comparison have a look at other sides re
1 defending a kickout
2 kicking in strategy
3 forward entry
4 centre clearances

We are very poor.
This comes down to coaching and tactics.
Also...
We have ageing injured players and unskilled non AFL level replacements.
Our ageing stars give us half a chance but they are dying off one at a time.

Time to start again.
It will be a long road as the cupboard is light on after a few young stars.
Dimma needs much better help or needs replacing if his style is now found wanting.

Disgraceful loss - up there with our worst ever.
Should have won by 10 goals with the chances that we had.
Looked so predictable from half way through third quarter but even then we had to contrive a special set of calamaties!

Despite all the missed shots its the ill dicipline that hurts the most Vlaustin into Short this week - we seem incapable of stopping them (the coaches that is)!
Seriously how does Short think no-one will notice that!

Horrible loss. It's been a wasted season. Too many opportunities gone begging.

Can not play Aarts, Castanga or Edwards in the same team.
All 3 are *smile* useless.

The crazy thing about all of this is that when we bring the pressure (ie something above a 180 rating) we’re still one of the hardest sides to compete against in the AFL.

But these guys just think they can switch it on and off and get by. Unfortunately though, we’re simply not talented enough to do things on the bit. We are number 1 for turnover errors. We miss simple and easy executions in front of goal. Time and time again. And other simple and often, dumb acts …like Short’s 50. How many times have we given away stupid frees and 50’s this year ?

But the hunger just isn’t there anymore to maintain a consistent and decent level of pressure over the entirety of a game. That’s as big an issue as anything. To me, that’s the most disappointing thing with this group right now.

Hardwick needs a major kick up the behind. Carry on like a pickle in his private life, coaching like a peanut.

Well put Dear Drofder

If Nank has a PCL thats likely the season for him.

Just when we hit the so called easy part of our season fixture the wheels fall off.

Time is fast approaching where we need to find out who can and who cant before seasons end so we can move on list cloggers and those who are either cooked or not up to it.

Season is likely cooked right there, we aint contending for anything without Nank.

Regardless of any consolation wins against Kangas, Drugs or Horx.

Quite feasible that we could get rolled by the Dorkers, Bears and even the Kochies at the AO now especially without Nank and the rate we are stacking injuries up.

Id rather miss the finals rather then get bashed and tossed out in week one.

Sneaking into the finals will also paper over the cracks that are opening up again.

The question is how far down the ladder can we finish if we try? Thats what we should be looking at. Picking up another Gibcus

That's why we need a new team of regulars. Also need to finish with these stupid long and hang time bombs to a 50-50 chance. Short does this too often.
