Game Day RD 17 - Tigers V Suns

This team is once again untrustworthy. How many times have we blown 5 plus goal leads this year??? This team gets a good lead (40 points tonight) and then disappears completely. I don't what to say. They just keep inventing new ways to tear your heart out. They just simply can not be trusted anymore. No longer capable of getting the job done. Yeah we get players back and we might win a few more games. What does it matter; we don't have the fire or the desire in the more. It's over. You don't lose games like that (and others this year) and go on and win flags.

But at least the rest of the footy world and the media will be happy. In their eyes Richmond is back to doing what Richmond does best. They can all laugh at us again.

Unfortunately the follow on effect is every team will believe they are always in the game against us, no matter the score. This is a difficult reputation to shake.
I hope we lose next week now. I don't want Dimma to take this as an aberration.

This should have been wrapped up at half time. Awful kicking for goal.
I say it every week the Tigers have cost themselves all season by not converting.

The Carlton Game, The Swans game last week against the Cats, early against the Saints when we were all over them it does my F#$%#&%# Head In every week.

Every time we need one JUST *smile*&*#% ONE GOAL to kill off a game these campaigners cant help but F#$%$&^*%$ Miss easy goals.

Invariably it is always followed by a goal or two to the opposition then we are under pressure.

F#%$& these campaigners I'm goin spare.

The really disappointing thing to me is that we are better than this and I am not sure why it happens.
6-7 times this season we have come out with no intensity after halftime and it has cost us over and over again.
We have been in front in the 2nd half in all 16 games and won 9. That’s simply not good enough
Full bellies. No hunger. Climbed the mountain 3 times; can't be *smile* doing it again.

I guess it's understandable but still eminently disappointing.

Probably just handed our finals spot to Collingwood after that.

You just knew it was coming.

I think we are done we cant keep our best players on the park.

The Club and fitness staff have dropped the ball badly this year, we have too many recurring soft tissue injuries to the wrong players too key players, the players werent fit enough for the season start and the desire isn't there.

Worst part is that our best side fit could actually win the Flag this year yet here we are back to Richmond 2016 losing games in this fashion.

Embarrassing,
Good summary. I’d probably add we’ve done nothing to address clearance issues & opposition can always score quickly against us.

Long way back I suspect given the age profile of our list and player deficiencies.

The 5 goal Bermuda Triangle. We go missing in it. Week after week after week….

What the *smile*. Here I am having a schniti and chips in front of the telly watching the match on kayo after spending my day cleaning out the shed in which a possum made a right royal mess of...

It's going well, half time we are up by 6 goals. I think to myself we got this and check my phone.... Loss after the siren.

We lack decent coaching. There's no way we should have lost this.

Yep tonight was about 1 thing and 1 thing only and that was conversion. As you say we needed 1 goal to kill them off. When Aarts got through and was dead in front, we would ahead by 23, would have pushed us to 29 and probably wins the game, instead they go down the other end and score, and the game is only 17. George could have killed the game off, MRJ could have killed the game off. These are the things that killed us in the last. Those counter punches when they were on top, were meak little tummy taps instead of the full roundhouse like it should have been.

Cumberland kicks a sitter and we win.
Not sure why everyone was so desperate to get this guy into the side

Mozza's miss was a usual lining up, but we lost because of Castagna's stupidity in no awareness. As bad as Percy Jones' miss.

If this display tonight didn’t tell the club that hard decisions need to be made, then nothing will.

Someone needs to tell the MC the game for four full quarters and not two. Also it would be good to have 18 players on the field playing for the gurnsey and not 16!
