GAME DAY Rd 13 - against the Pepper Power at the home of the G

Ralph Malph blamed the weather and Thursday night. Next breath Sarah Jones says ‘Supporters love Thursday nights’. Do these people ever listen to what they’re saying? The evidence is that supporters hate Thursday nights.
Jab Watson said "thursday night games cater for a television audience"

probably the only thing I've heard him say and thought he's mostly right ..

Also that’s what the AFL want.

EYEBALLS. Don’t care about the fans.

$$$$$$$$

You watch next year 22 Thursday night games. Book mark it!
How the *smile* do they knowing how many people are watching?
I Channel flick 50 times during games

I was at that game also. The coldest game that I have ever been to. Colder than any trip to the snow I’ve been to
You thought it was cold at the G! I thought it'd be a great idea to take a French backpacker down the Great Ocean Road that day!

Got a text from my brother at the game: This kid Cotchin's a player.
Me: Told ya. (lost a finger to frostbite taking glove off to type that)

I went tonight, only 2nd game for the year ( 2-0 btw)

It wasn’t that cold to be honest. Been to plenty of games when it’s been colder
Well done Sin.

Our lucky ‘charm’…

If you are able go next Thursday. May need that ‘charm of yours’

Simply disgusting those Port Adelaide A
Players weren't tested for concussion.

It's unbelievably hard listening to him.
Dumb as dog shitt.
Carey was on the port bandwagon .
Any chance to bag us or bag the umpires he did. He lost his but when Roosie kept kicking straight back to us.

Lowest Tigers MCG crowd at the G for over 10 Years I think I heard - no one likes Thursday night games apart for the TV.
Haven't been a huge number of games against interstate sides at the G over time (many have been played at Docklands) but there have been a number with crowds in the 22-30k range. No doubt Thursday in winter also had an effect.

There’s protocols to be adhered to. Don’t think anyone is claiming to be a doctor

Thinking they know better than Doctors might be a better way to put it.

Were the protocols adhered to?

Doesnt logic dictate,

That if theres a straightforward, decisive, unambiguous peice of evidence available,

You dont show the equivocal, confusing, inconclusive
Peice?

What am i missing here?

That's a question for the channel 7 directors. Personally I think they do a poor job and often don't show replays of free kicks we don't catch live as well.

when Jab, Duck, Ham and Browne were together in the rooms the dumbness was fascinating

Awful lot of Doctors in the AFL world all of a sudden.

Again,

Its simple physics isnt it?

Two melons smash into each other full pelt,

You check for brain rattle?

And isnt that check mandated by the afl?

And thats why theyre called Protocols?

My perception of the Protocols is they closely review tape and go down the rooms for a series of tests, and wait 20 mins jusy to make sure they dont collapse, confulse, foam at the mouth, vomit, and/or die?

They just taped em up and put em on.

Interested in your thoughts TBR.

Did you consider that a pretty inconsequential head clash?

Do you think it warranted a concussion test?

Cos I've never seen Jonas shirk a contest, and he looked like he was in a world of trouble to me.

Be a massive TV audience tonight. If you asked Richmond to choose between 30k at the MCG on Saturday arvo to play Port or huge exposure on Thursday night TV I think we'd choose the latter.

They don't pitch to sponsors with crowd numbers ahead of TV ratings.

You flicked to watch that’s 1…
They register how long you are watching a game.
Just like radio.
Click to listen to replay of a show, program, interviews made - that’s a click bait the same could to be a person for x amour time watching a game….

I’m making ‘crap’ up I guess.

Those last 2 HTBs in the last Q were a shock. And the Gibbo free was soft as butter.
