Haven't been a huge number of games against interstate sides at the G over time (many have been played at Docklands) but there have been a number with crowds in the 22-30k range. No doubt Thursday in winter also had an effect.
Thinking they know better than Doctors might be a better way to put it.
Were the protocols adhered to?
That's a question for the channel 7 directors. Personally I think they do a poor job and often don't show replays of free kicks we don't catch live as well.

Be a massive TV audience tonight. If you asked Richmond to choose between 30k at the MCG on Saturday arvo to play Port or huge exposure on Thursday night TV I think we'd choose the latter.
They don't pitch to sponsors with crowd numbers ahead of TV ratings.

Yep, I'm his biggest critic and I thought he was decent in the last Q and most of the night competed well overall.
Those last 2 HTBs in the last Q were a shock. And the Gibbo free was soft as butter.
