Game day Crows Vs Tigers

They ran out of legs fortunately. We have to add speed. Can’t carry a forward half with Jack, Dusty, Cotchin & Graham. Collingwood will slaughter us.

Unconvinced.

Selection committee has some work to do.

Too slow across the ground. Jack R is an absolute defensive liability now.

Cumbo should replace him but that won’t happen because Dimma is loyal to his old guard.

We will lose handily to Collingwood if we go in with the same structure.

The scoreline didn't really reflect the game IMO. We were deadeyes for goal and they sprayed way too many easy kicks for goal. We went to sleep at half time think we'd won it and they put the pedal down. Not confident about next week, especially since Broad will be out for at least a couple of weeks.

Don't think we could have won it without Balta's 9 intercepts. He won several strong contests in the last half and used the ball well. Walker was their main KP threat and he largely nullified him. Hoping some of his detractors from last week can offer credit when it's due.

Probably deserved to win overall. We were incredibly poor in that 3rd quarter, but seems that was because the Crows just went batshit crazy at us in that quarter and ended up running out of legs because of it. Across the game we probably controlled it enough. Dominant in the 1st half, and took back control in the final quarter.

Balta was excellent, as were Hopper and Bakes. Pickett was very good in that final term. He's a weapon to throw through the midfield. Need to find a way to play him more through there (cough Juddy cough cough).

Jack needs to kick those goals that are 35m out pretty much dead in front. 2 misses today from similar spots is very unlike jack.

Hmm, will download and see what this looks like, but listening on the radio heard way too many entries inside 50 which went straight to the opposition.

Third quarter was a mess.

Sounds like we were way too slow.

A reasonable finish in the end but it should never have got that close.

One thing I will say, I was watching the timeline on the AFL website and it is an absolute joke. The time ticks on but it looks like there have been no scores. You refresh the page and, lo and behold, 5 goals have been kicked. Pathetic.

On to next week, which I may end up watching on TV given my away membership won't get me in. Can't see us matching Collingwood, they are very good, as they should be with McRae as coach. We always knew our assistants would go and get jobs at other clubs and it looks like at least 1 is doing a great job. Such is life, that's what happens when you win multiple flags.

Good work Tigers to lift and hold them off after completely switching off but fair dinkum.

Good sides do not switch off and do that.

Shouldve been a 10-12 goal win.

Well didn’t see that coming.

Last five goals.

They suddenly lifted, snapped out of their lethargy.

Next with Broady out and possibly Hopper who looked really good today will be huge.

Take the 4 , run and onto the darlings of the AFL the Pies.

Thought we were gone.

Showed me some grit and fight.

I'm not sure we switched off. I'd love to see the pressure rating from the Crows in that 3rd quarter, we dominated that area in the 1st half but I suspect their pressure rating was through the roof in the 3rd which along with last weeks game, resulted in them running out of legs. We didn't deal with their pressure well, but I'm not sure we switched off.
