FYI 2019 Grand Final - RFC Priority Groups/AFL Grand Final Ticketing

Unallocated GWS tix are on sale today to GWS members who did not go in the ballot.

Any remaining unallocated tix then become available to us on Tuesday.

What's with the "Dress Regulations Apply" printed on all our tickets?

(We're in Q7, printed them off before Ticketek turned off the option to print them.)

Whilst I am overjoyed that I have a ticket to the big dance, there is still some real disappointment from RFC Priority 1 members how all of this has played out re ticketing since Saturday all because GWS won.

I am not begrudging any Richmond members the opportunity potentially access tickets, I simply putting in my two cents worth that the system is unfair, totally random and frustrating.

Regarding tomorrows sale, what this potentially means is for example if GWS had one full bay allocated (i.e M7) and they can't fill it then RFC members can purchase them tomorrow between 11am-1pm online, meaning members actually get to pick seating rather than being allocated randomly

This really hurts as platinum, Priority 1, Premiership Circle who has been allocated 3 tickets for someone just out of hospital, an 80+ pensioner and me up the top deck 10 rows from the back.

I'll be definitely seeing what can be done should any new tickets become available and will speak to Ticketek.

I have no issue with the way tickets will be distributed tomorrow (i.e those who actually registered get first dibs compared to those who did not actually register)

Yes, I am a bit bitter about all of this, given what I got served up in 2017 and 2019, that is natural. I'm excited to be there yet again, but with those I attend with just makes things harder with the seats we have been given and the thousands of dollars spent on memberships each year for the past 40 years.

Regarding tomorrow;

Secondary Grand Final ticket sale

Eligible Club members who were unsuccessful in the ballot or did not register may have the opportunity in a potential secondary on-sale, should there be remaining tickets at the completion of the GIANTS ballot.

The secondary on-sale is open to eligible Club members on Tuesday, September 24 via Ticketek Please note - Strictly pending ticket availability.

The on-sale times are:

11am-1pm: Any unsuccessful ballot Richmond members (those who registered but missed out on a ticket)

12pm-1pm: Any remaining eligible Richmond members in Priority Groups 1-3 who did not register in the ballot

Please note, this is not a ballot system and will work as a normal on-sale via Ticketek. To have the best chance in securing ticket/s, eligible Club members will need:

Firstly, I'll declare that I don't have full knowledge as to the intricacies of the ballot as I access my tix through my AFL mship.

Out of curiosity I downloaded the 2 successful ballot lists and did a quick count
Total member numbers listed ..... RFC.... (66 pages x 105 numbers less 13 on last page) = 6917
GWS...(27 pages x 63 numbers less 5 on last page) = 1696

Those with better knowledge might make sense of the figures.

We got our tickets yesterday in AFL members reserve Level 2A P14 like 2017.
Good Omen, GO TIGERS!!!!!

just putting it out there... if you are a gold or platinum member that has no intention of trying to grab a ticket for tomorrow's ticket sale, i have 2 mates who are keen. both are members, but have let it lapse over the years and aren't at gold level. If you're willing to PM me your unused barcode, I'm sure they would be very appreciative.

I've worked out I'm 5 rows behind the cheer squad. Atmosphere no doubt great but not sure the kids will see much.

you'll be fine.

As a 9 year consecutive member, I couldn't get into the ballot, but if anyone had a barcode in the ballot who can't make it, I would be forever grateful if you could PM me your details.

Where do you find what your customer ID number is? I cant see it anywhere

Hi mate, I have seats that I am willing to swap for standing room but I was looking to swap 3... Maybe we can work something out.
Thanks Big Al & AOC, on inspection this morning they appear to be seats, restricted view, same price as Standing. Looks like Dad will be going to the Dance, hoping to see his 7th Premiership...

Benny was just on SEN and said we got 17,000 so less 6917 = 10,100 for Priotity 1 and does this include Club staff players, sponsors too,(or is there another allocation for them).
Such is the reality now 7000/93000 regular members get to go.
