FYI 2019 Grand Final - RFC Priority Groups/AFL Grand Final Ticketing

Just received notification of seat allocation.
Q52 as a Category 3 ticket is a little disappointing. Top deck Olympic.
I was Category 5 in 2017 which was top deck SS, so essentially I’ve forked out an extra $140 for the same seat.
Oh well, Go Tigers.
One more job to finish.

Standing room for me and my 80yo Dad, who struggles to walk. So much for being members for 26years +

Standing room for me too. A mere 44 year member which is priority 2 and may have fewer than 2000 eligible members ie 25-49 years membership.
So RFC has chosen to significantly increase Prioroty 1 (buy a guaranteed GF seat)
OR
The ticket allocation system is random and/ or corrupt with lower priority members obtaing higher Category seats in a lottery.

Call the ticketek special needs number and ask them if you can get him a seat in the disabled bays. I stood behind plenty of vacant disabled area seats lastnight. If he uses any type of aid to walk you may be a chance. 1300 665 915 probably Monday after 9am

I think that all the allocations would be complete by now......
So, for those that are still wondering, here’s a check list to establish if you are going to the Tiger extravaganza..

1/ check you’re credit card account to see if there has been a debit from Ticketek
2/if so, check the amount against the ticket prices for each Catagory....this will tell you what Cat seating you have been givin.
If not, first alarm bell
3/ Go to the Ticketek site, sign in and check “Order History”......you should see your registration details from 2 weeks ago...
There will be a code for that ie: C2ADT....or something like that...
If no code, then second (and major) alarm bell
4/ under that, you should see the actual Seat/s allocation...
If not, third alarm bell..

As the saying goes, three strikes and you’re out......just replace strikes, with alarms...

A few notes to add
If you get thru to point 4, but have no seat allocation, you may still be in the game PROVIDED you have an allocation order number there in lieu of
a seat allocation......I had an order number (4357) about 3 hours ago, but it now shows the seats...
If you have three alarms, then IMO, you still may have hope if the AFL open up a few more seats to our members now that we know who we are playing.....

I apologise if I’m telling people how to suck eggs, but I just like to make things a little clearer, or easier for those that may not be in the know as much as others......best of luck everyone.

I don’t have any numbers, only a code 1 x C2ADT
Have no idea what this means and my credit card balance has not changed.
I think C2 is club 2(out of 4) adult.

My ticket showed up but has since disappeared from the order history. Hoping nothing changes because I hit the jackpot with a M50 front row seat !

Just FYI in case anyone is stressing about what they can/cant see on ticketek, the actual seat info (ie the seats you were allocated) has disappeared from the 'order history' in ticketek. I had seen and screenshotted it, but its now reverted back to just the ballot entry info. Same for other people too. Nothing to worry about probably, just don't stress if it's not there

Tx for the heads up 3000. Just went back in now and previous standing room ticket info now disappeared. Credit card charge still there. I'll try not to stress!!!!

Wasnt able to maintain membership for 2 adult kids after so many years. Will monitor sites for 2 tickets but wont hold my breath for them even with GWS it will be hard for any non members.
