If i was at a footy club and somehow a leak had sprung reporting things that were not correct, I would too be a little bit 'pi$$y'.
Who knows what was factual and what was based on rumour and innuendo. None of us were there, Hutchy was not there. Even if any meetings happened, who is to say that the evidence of what occured is even accurate.
I have had a lot of thinking time re all of this and have reached one conclusion. this is my opinion which i am entitled to share on this forum.
Terry Wallace is the leak.
Someone fearful for their coaching career that has not delivered anything in almost 5 years, thats team has performed poorly in 2009 will stoop to any level to make himself look 'hard done' by the club that gave him an opportunity that he blew.
He in my opionion has masterminded this whole thing. Why ?
- to motivate ?
- to put players on notice?
- to perhaps secure him an extension?
- to give himself a name before he steps out?
- when he leaves to get himself another job?
Its a sad state of affairs down at Punt Road
