Once Bolton and balta left this age group it was always going to look anaemic.
Deep down we all know we don’t have any known A grade youngsters.
Gibcus Ryan Cumberland are the ones who have shown some glimpses of a grade for me but none of them have proven it.
Might be fair enough. Dow played 2 games this year and his in our best 5! Hopefully there is a drastic re-evaluation in a year or twos time

He only wrote our review. the different teams are written by a few different writers. and i guess the rankings are overall consensus.

And Kellie Underwood said the AFLw might need to change the voting system in the girls brownlow because apparently Garner from North was the best player this year. She did say Conti had a very good season and she is a star..but once again people wanting rules and things changed as soon a Richmond player or club succeeds in the competition.

The Brownlow (men's and women's) has the most inaccurate way of determining votes. No way the umpires can or should be voting on this. We see it year after year when people win who arguably shouldn't. When year after year a midfielder wins because they catch the eye of the umpires.
What I find interesting is that Kellie made the comment regarding the women's Brownlow.
I await with interest a similar comment from an AFL accredited media person on the men's Brownlow.
Maybe she does, but why didn't she say it last year when Conti was more deserving and a complete outsider won it.
Simple reason Conti won the wimmens Brownlow.
Conti's a star playing in a moderate side that didn't even make finals so she stands out like the dogs proverbials.
Gomer's a star playing in a premium side that's contesting for a flag, ( did they win today? ) so she's surrounded by a bunch of very good players who would take some votes off her and she wouldn't quite stand out so much.

I don't watch alot of the girls play but was it the case good player in ordinary team ala Wines or Garner plays with other quality players knocking votes off her?

There is some truth to that. Conti is clearly our best and other than Sheerin and a few others we lack overall quality. Hence our ladder position.
