Brilliant interview - loved it.Just on the media I listened to Brian Taylor’s interview on the talking tigers podcast. I’m not BT fan as a commentator but the interview is great. Well worth a listen. On the website
I thought it was a little disappointing. Didn't really delve into why he left and expand on his playing career. THey avoided the usual questions they ask guests because BT has no real love for Richmond.Just on the media I listened to Brian Taylor’s interview on the talking tigers podcast. The podcast is not really about that sort of stuff jb, its a session where old players do a fluffy piece. In that sense BT was a strange choice but given what you say I thought the interview was great.I thought it was a little disappointing. Nah, we had a ten year quality FF in Roach and that's why it was never Gunna work with he and BT.The podcast is not really about that sort of stuff jb, its a session where old players do a fluffy piece. In that sense BT was a strange choice but given what you say I thought the interview was great.
FWIW , to be honest BT had legitimate grievances, there is no doubt he should have played in the 1982 Grand final. It not only may have lost us a premiership it probably lost us a 10 year quality full forward
BT kicked 71 goals in 15 games in 1982 and Roach kicked 38 playing further up the ground and in the ruckNah, we had a ten year quality FF in Roach and that's why it was never Gunna work with he and BT.

I enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised about his strong affection and admiration for Roachy as a person and a player.Just on the media I listened to Brian Taylor’s interview on the talking tigers podcast. Apparently that taking the legs out wasn't a free to Balta.

He’s also contradicted himself in the article. Spent a fair bit at the start praising SHocking for “saving” the game with his rule changes. Then proceeds to say “ But before the rule changes- mainly 6-6-6 and the stand rule- there was Richmond. What a breathtaking team the Tigers have been. Their brand is described as chaos. It’s chaotically beautiful. Win it, move it forward, run, share it, repeat “Out there in them there hills where banjo playing, makin' moonshine and 'fooling' with ones closest of relatives is part of everyday life...... Robbo has taken time away over the bye to write a love letter to the saviours of the game!
He lost me at game saviour 1..... Steve Hocking
