Footy media , love’m or hate’ m ?

he is certainly was born with a gift and found his calling.

hes living his best life
Cornes didn't last long in the fire brigade ... is that because he was lighting spot fires to keep his job?
because it's exactly what he's doing in the media ...

Unfortunately you can't beat city hall.
the media gimps will always back the AFL
Play it with a straight bat and go on and win the grand final.
That will *smile* 'em.

Kane has a schtick and he schticks to it. It makes him money, good money no doubt. I noticed people ridiculed him for working for free early days for Hutchy, it paid off for him big time so good on him.

If you don't like what he writes/shoots, avoid him. Clickbait is successful revenue generating strategy.

Agree Angry.

I've made a recent decision to not listen to him on Fridays on SEN, and to avoid every show he is on. Just had enough of his anti-Richmond rubbish. And my blood pressure is all the better for it.

I know my decision won't make any difference to his ratings/clicks, but it enough people do it then it might make some difference.

I actually tend to watch "The Round So Far" on the AFL site, good summary of the previous games in the round. They pay credit to the Tigers if we win. Of course they were going to hammer the Dimma comments and Dimma's set em up two weeks in a row now, so it's a free hit for Kane there. Of course he took it.

Maybe because I'm a contrarian I can actually watch him without my blood boiling

It depends if you think the AFL industry needs a shock jock or not. It generates revenue for his pay masters but it adds nothing to the game of footy.

I can't watch him at all, mainly because I value my time and have so many better things to do.

I don't even know what channel or radio station he is on to be honest, all I know about Mr Cornes Jr is what I read here.

A good footyjourno at moment might be Mick Warner . With his book The Boys Club. Probably nothing new but it's a compendium of AFL nepotism, lack of accountability, deal making, double standards over last three decades.

Not sure if it’s a good or bad thing when Kermit agrees with you.

I think you were a certainty spook for a pair of socks until you mentioned the Cats
I'm no nuffy.

(Sounded handsome, though.)

Kermit only agreed so he could say Geelong v Richmond should be at Krapdinner Park.

Poor Karen has a really bad month.
Bagging his X team mate
Contradicting himself about whinging about umpires decisions
And poor little Roziee might be going ring around Rozzie with the 2nd's. While Walsh establishes himself as a gun footballer.
Poor Karen.

It's been said before but I can no longer watch / listen to footy media due to the anti Richmond sentiment - but Footyology with Rohan Connelly is a great podcast (twice a week) that has decent commentary, gives credit where it is due and doesn't go into hyperbole.
