It's dissatisfying to the old school demo that the AFL frankly doesn't care about, including (apparently) an overwhelming number of posters in here. First time I’ve sat and watched it for a looooong time… first 20 min was good… then went to the rubbish cartoon contrived Caro cooks or Lloyd loves (I dunno what they are really called )

I’ve noticed my son isn’t watching footy much this year. He’ll watch soccer and some basketball.
He still plays footy and the first time ever our local club is struggling to fill a team. Under 9’s and under 11’s play a few kids short each week.
If the AFL aren’t carefully the game might be in trouble 10 years from now

That demographic is the core of the AFL's business.
Good luck trying to keep the game going on the back of trying to constantly please fringe parties & minorities.
