Finals Week 2: the Keilor cafe games.

Probably living in a decked out crib and not having any future money concerns.

We got reamed in that trade and it's all our fault. Would really like to know who pushed so hard at the club to get this done.
Not sure we got reamed

Tarranto apart from a tired finish to the season was sensational for most of the year

Hopper never really got going due to an injury interrupted season

Tarranto trade big tick

Hopper , bit underwhelming especially now it’s a higher pick we gave up than we initially hoped , but long way to go

Still imagine going into next season with only Bolton Prestia Martin in the midfield with Dow Sonsie Graham Short etc as the backup options

Such a shame that RFC can't lure Tom Green to Punt Road from GWS.
Bloody good player.
And if GWS win the flag then there will be no chance of that happening.

Went to Adelaide Oval last night to watch this game. GWS genuinely looked good and could be a chance this week - some real big units in their team mixed with smooth movers and match winners.

Two things I noticed - nervy start and nervy end. Against Collingwood it may prove problematic if they don’t get away to a good start or pies get on a roll.

As a neutral I was clapping the efforts of both teams which port supporters took exception to and so I moved into full on GWS supporter. Wow that set them off. Tried to calm them down saying I was a tigers fan - that took them to another level!

Was asked why I would pay $100 for a ticket to watch port lose - I replied because that’s the most expensive ticket I could buy - was prepared to pay much more to watch them lose!

I know it's unlikely but I would love to see a GWS v Carlton GF. Then GWS to win.

In order of my least liked teams playing this week:

Brisbane
Collingwood
Carlton
GWS

Collingwobbles start well but have been running out of steam in the last.

Way too many passengers from Snort Powder.

Rozee reverted to type posing for free kicks, he can't handle the heat, not a single clearance.
Aliir Aliir had a shocker, didn't look like taking a mark. Cornes fan boy Dixon only touched it 6 times.
Duursma had 7 possessions confirming he's one of the most overrated players in the AFL.
Durrsma isn't rated to be over rated

Signed him again August 18 after winning thirteen straight.
Yep. Could've waited till the season ended and finals were done, but went the early crow instead. Some ex Port player and director has had a bleat in this mornings paper that perhaps they should've waited a bit.

My preference is for a Bris v GWS Grand Final.
Same here Boney.
I will support any team that plays against the hated Mudpies.
Don't mind the Lions, after all they are jungle creatures just like Tigers.
Like the way GWS played and think if the get their mojo right will beat the Muddies.
