Finals Week 2: the Keilor cafe games.

You have to wonder how Taranto & Hopper are feeling tonight.
Deldioesque .......................... to be honest I hope the Karma is visited and the Sherbies go on and win the Flag.

Will spur the two of thos blokes on to better footy going forward.

Geeze have we got a reverse 2016 Deledio karma going on here , Taranto and Hopper leave GWS to play finals and GWS on the verge of a GF which they win for mine if they get there.

F@#$@ I hope so !!!
Not really cos Hopper wouldn't make that side and Taranto is borderline.

Nothing better than seeing the most feral bogan club exiting in straight sets. Well done giants a great team to watch
can't have that. I attended the 2020 prelim. Hardly any Tigers there because Adelaide and Covid, they were crushed by the defeat, yet great sports. I celebrated hard that night in various Adelaide pubs, decked out in tigers gear, they were amazingly good sports, some even offered congratulations. I think they are actually a lot like us. I'll never forget it.

I'm fine with them going out in straight sets of course, they weren't good enough, but dispute the most feral bogan part.

What's Ports record in finals at the Adelaide oval??
Hinkley has a really shiit side.
Besides Rossee and Bulters the rest are hot dogs.
I'm Skinner then Rioli,
Horn francis isn't Dustys ass hole, more like a headless chook. I lost count how many times he booted the ball to buggery for GWS to intercept it.
Finalyson Burton and Farell are soft koks.
Durrsma is delist quality.
Burn Jones and Jones are nothing footballers.
I reckon they will finish bottom 6 next year
Hinkey has done an amazing job with that list. Lycett and Dixon are liabilities.

Hinkley, 10 years at coaching and no premiership or grand final.
Got to be a record there.

So GWS only gets a 6-day break. How is this fair? Integrity isn't high on the list of priorities at AFL house.
Every team should get a min 7-day break. Well, Pies and Lions get 2 weeks. Blues 8 days and Giants 6 days

Wonder how Tarranto and Hopper are feeling. Actually, I reckon I know how they’re feeling. Couple of shocking career choices by the boys. And it could get a hell of a lot worse next couple of weeks.

They would be happy for their ex-teammates no doubt. Taranto and Hopper played in the 2019GF with Taranto having 30 disposals and 7 tackles, and Hooper having 19 disposals, 1 goal, and 9 tackles. They have also played in a few Prelims.

They have 7 years min at Richmond, who's to say we won't win a flag in 3-5 years?

It's not like Lids when he left us, it was towards the end of his career. These guys have time on their side.

I Just think the future looks pretty grim for us unfortunately. From what I can see, our list is in an awful state, and I can’t see how we avoid a full rebuild, But what would I know

I want the Gee Whiz to win the Flag.

It will salvage for me what has been one of the shittest seasons for ages,. with the worst final 8 in ages.

I will be happy as long as the Skunks dont make the GF, but if the Giants make it against the campaigner Bears (cant see the Baggers knocking them off up there) thenI'm all in on Gee Whiz.

I hear you but It isn't as grim as you think. It can turn quickly. We still have a lot of talent. Need to trade for needs and pick the best available in the draft.
The 2021 draft could be our savior, 5 picks in the top 30 odd. Taranto was huge for us and Hooper I rate highly. Lynch and Gibcuis will be big ins in 2024.

And the coaching situation is a bit grim too. There's nothing there that has me looking forward near term with any real confidence.

Allir was beyond woeful tonight.

Think he must suffer bad performance anxiety,

It was too poor to just be an off night?
