Elimination Final Game Day Thread v Lions

People are saying look at Lynch’s reaction. Have a look at the vision on ch7 tonight from the crowd. Better view from forward pocket….and have a look at the Tiger supporters cheering and clapping.if you watch that vision frame by frame you see the ball disappears behind the goal post not in front and obviously it is over the goal line because the ball is behind the post. The ARC has gone against the afl directive by overruling goal u,pure on insufficient proof. Complete Mickey Mouse organisation and I will not be renewing my afl membership next year. I think I might be done. And I am still fuming.
Lynch said he lost sight of the ball in the lights so he had no idea whether it was a goal or not.

Can't believe none of our defenders dropped to the goal line for the sealer. All got sucked to the ball. Really disappointing.

Yep. We had five players around that contest. It’s very hard to believe we couldn’t stop the most insipid player in the AFL kicking a goal in that circumstance. If you didn’t see it you wouldn’t believe it.

Staggering defensive ineptitude.

Revenue raising again. I fail to understand why players have to accept this rubbish.

Vloss pays $5K for tripping (?!?!?) but the other 2 Lions players only $3K for rough conduct.

Don't pay it.
Ask them to come and get it.
Fken weasels. All year they have bent us over.
Gilligan said he is fking off, he is still around

How we had no-one on the line to touch a quick snap is unfathomable. Look at how Melbourne always have someone back, and they are a very good defensive team.

I thought we were better at slowing down the game when ahead by less than a kick with little time left. But we needed a complete defensive effort which means the ball coming in to their goal square, you have someone on the goal line to at least touch a quick shot at goal.

apparently there was a goal review in tonights game given a goal when the player didn't celebrate? Didn't see it but Cooney said it on TV, made the point that some players celebrate like headless chooks and some hardly bat an eyelid.

There are some people who actually enjoy the game, respect the efforts of all involved, accept the ups and downs as part of sport and win and lose with sportsmanship.

I understand it's not for everyone, and clearly the minority on here, but other people feeling different doesn't make it an illegitimate position.
Could you please be a bit more patronising.

Yeah it's a strange one. When Miller is in the ruck he seems to do well then disappears from the ground for long periods. Wonder if it's Dimma or Nank who's determining his TOG.
Wow. That’s an amazing stat, particularly in light of the nightmare game Gibcus had. Surely Miller could have spent a bit of time down back to limit Josh’s impact on the game.

We got shafted.

I've analysed the game using a number of different metrics.

We were penetrated.

We also assisted with it, some real dumb uncomposed stuff as the case all year long.
100% correct mate.

We were poor. Especially our guns.

But Melbourne leave the ground last night, conceding that Sydney were the better side.

We get eliminated because of a bewildering ARC decision that was swept under the rug in record time combined with putrid, biased umpiring.

Brisbane are NOT better than us.

For anyone at the game how many tigers in the crowd compared to 2019?
With the talk of how the thursday timeslot would affect the crowd was surprised how many richmond bays there seemed to be on the telecast...Juat curious i guess

Back to the game i think three soft games against port, hawks and essendon plus the long break didn't help?
On the other hand the dogs had a on paper soft game against the hawks but they really took it up to them..
