Elimination Final Game Day Thread v Lions

Umps had nothing to do with. Arc had nothing to do with it. As we have done all year, we shot ourselves in the foot time and time again. Great experience for our young 'uns, but they made a lot of critical mistakes. And so did premiership players. Neither us or the Bears would've advanced next week.

Oh *smile* off, the arc had everything to do with it. We were robbed.

Nank was *smile* rubbish.
Center bounce he just took it out of the air both hands and then either hand balled it to a man under pressure or kicked it 1-2 meters along the ground.
Why not punch the *smile* out of hit 40 meters towards goal?

Backline has a lot of work to do. Tarrant been good all year but will only get slower. Gibcus a worry as he doesnt seem to like contact. Perhaps forward is his go.
Broad another year older. Grimes the same.
Do we entertain the Martin trade?

Not good enough. Too flaky. Leaky.

Even if we won you don’t advance far conceding 100pts in an EF.

Seventh is about right.
Obvious. Would've been worse if we lost like this in a QF. We never had the strength to reach a GF.

Nanks game made no sense???

Plus, we were always gonna lose a final on a weird opaque afl rule technicality - lynchys score review.

Thought the kids were good.

Shai's head was in the maternity ward. Dusty badly underdone

Not dimmas greatest hour, reacting to neale after 20 clearances, but he won 3 flags not panicking,

So we move on.

Sonsie and mrj are stars.

Other than being ripped off by holding frees, it was our youngsters who didn't really step up, other than MRJ and Ross.

Gibcus has a future but that was one of the worst backman displays I've seen in a long time.

Sonsie had a lot of the ball in the first half but very poor decision making. Just 2 disposals in the 2nd half.

Cumberland probably the worst game he's played since his induction.

Miller tried hard but not much of a game.

That's it 2022 season over. 5 losses by less than a goal and a draw.
You're right, Gibcus was terrible, as was Sonsie except for the 2nd quarter -- gave away 2 goals in the 1st quarter

Hocking was in the Arc tonight
In all seriousness, Lynch acting like a tool cost us the win. He shouldve fist pump and the turds wouldve called it a goal
Holy *smile*, I guess it was for the best. No chance without Prestia.

That arc review was flat out against the rules.

Dustys return stuffed Cumberland up I reckon the kid didn't know what to do.

Gibbus has been poor for weeks and weeks and should've been out of the side to be honest his end to the season could be more detrimental than positive for his confidence.

Ross was good, Moju was good aside from some poor kicks which ended up being costly but the lad was probably spent after that first half.

Miller also didnt settle tonight.

Sonsie started slow then got into it.

Baker was *smile* poor tonight

When Brisbane went foward in the last 80 seconds, who honesty believed they weren't going to score?
The worst thing is that it was so predictable.... I knew as soon as lynch missed that goal bris were going to score the winning. We haven't won a single close one all year and lose the unloseable.... I guess we'll eventually learn from it after the 100th time it happens.

If he just kicked it through the middle we would have won. Went a banana. Should have snapped on the left.
Yeh, so dumb from a full forward. Simple snap on the left.
This season is such a waste. The Lions are so bad and they beat us. How? We allowed it and it’s very disappointing.

thought with mcinerney going down 5mins in 1st qtr Nank and Miller would dominate but they failed
It actually worked in their favoured as their rucks stayed down and added a body at the contest Richmond 2017 style.

Like Lee did throughout the 80 season.

Just predictable and made life hard for our midfield.
