Ideas, clearly don't have them, you'll be called every name under the sun.

Seriously?

Tearing down a perfectly good stadium, spend squillions to replace it next to Collingwoods home base, name it after Collingwoods home home ground!

What you call an Idea, I call an Agenda.

Shizen, if you can't bag the Collingwood president on a tiger forum something is wrong with the world!

You've said it perfectly.

How about my idea? Pies to return to Victoria Park, Carringbush, and stay locked up there except for away games. The only time they're allowed at the G.
Eddie should thank his lucky stars his club have got the best stadium in the South Pacific available to play most of their games on.

They were just slightly more tolerable when they were broke.

I'm in the camp that says develop punt rd. Although I'm not sure how you create a 60k venue without ruining the fabric of "PRO"?

I think you only need a 45k boutique stadium for I/S teams.
Maybe move Brunton Ave - either underground or the other side of the rail line? And extend PRO length wise to accomodate grand stands?
I'm sure the expert Architects could draft a plan.

Eddie is the new Lyle Lanley

Well, sir, there's nothing on earth
Like a genuine, bona fide
Electrified, six-car monorail
What'd I say?

Monorail
What's it called?
Monorail
That's right! Monorail

Monorail
Monorail
Monorail

I hear those things are awfully loud
It glides as softly as a cloud
Is there a chance the track could bend?
Not on your life, my Hindu friend

What about us brain-dead slobs?
You'll be given cushy jobs
Were you sent here by the Devil?
No, good sir, I'm on the level

The ring came off my pudding can
Take my pen knife, my good man
I swear it's Springfield's only choice
Throw up your hands and raise your voice

Monorail
What's it called?
Monorail
Once again
Monorail

But Main Street's still all cracked and broken
Sorry, Mom, the mob has spoken

Monorail!
Monorail!
Monorail!
Monorail!

Mono, d'oh!

Not even 45k. 35, tops. Surely Benny and the bean counters have been investigating how we could make a small fortune out of every game played at such a stadium.

the Bulldogs put forward this idea of boutique grounds last year
