Dylan Grimes JDM

Thought he was just making up the numbers on Saturday. Looked like an average football player and I'd drop him before Batch.

Can cut him a little slack for the terrible injury run in recent years but he has been awful for most of the year.
Has played 11 games and is averaging 9 possessions! If he was playing on the oppositions best forward each week it might be slightly tolerable but he ain't and it's simply not good enough.
Make or break for the Grimes boy in 2015

He has had a tough couple of years, that's for sure. I think he has the remainder of the year to keep trending upwards or it may be decision time...
Hope he makes it back to where he was. And I hope Astbury isn't affected in the same way.

At least his hammies are holding up so far. Was good to see him in a couple of 50m sprints. Very slick pass to Ellis in the second half too. Good game for mine

Have said a little while back that I want to keep playing him and have hope for his future.
My concerns today were a couple of times where he won the ball near the boundary line but seemed too content to run it over for the throw in.
From where I was I thought these were two opportunities to have kept it in play and have tried to take the game on.
It could be he was following instructions - but I'd like to have seen him be a bit more constructive.
Otherwise he's still on a general up curve.

Could be suited for playing on opposition small forwards as a replacement for Morris.
No doubt. Gave Wingard a bath when he was on him (and a fair spray too when The Chad took a dive) and also spent time on Sarge to showcase his flexibility and value.

Didn't trouble the stats man for the first half. Second was much better particularly ironing out Grey in the last.

Seems to still have the negating defender as first, second n third priority. Grew nicely into the game as it unfolded, n yep, loved the nudge on Grey just as he kicked the goal. Poor bloke bounced beautifully.

Tuff call on this bloke had a good game today he hasn't played that many games . Big preseason and maybe next year could be the breakout year we are all want. Right from the start of the game he was Toey giving it to white . May e he needs more pumping up prior to game . His kicking can be inconsistent

I felt for the first time in a long time that he was positive and aggressive. He attacked everything which was great and got involved. Was surprised to see his half time lack of stats as he seemed to be involved.

Maybe our back 6 is starting to come together albeit far too late.

If he can have a proper pre season and hit the regular season fully fit he could be the extra dynamic the back 6 needs.

How many years have we been saying this? I'm getting a bit impatient. I'd seen the glimpses before. This year he has seemed a bit slower, less skilled. Gets another year no doubt but we need improvement.

Agree. Had a couple of bad kicks in the first half.
Done a great job second half when it really mattered.

Did you watch yesterday? He was quick.
