Glad someone brought that up. What was he thinking!? If we've got the ball lay a shepherd, if the ball's in dispute go in and try and win the footy yourself but do something!
 
Kick to a teammate under pressure when he had ages to make a decision was a shocker. Thought he was the Iceman, but he melted today like a few others. Keeping faith though.
 
I was caned on here weeks ago about how grimes was severely overrated ....my thoughts were well justified when it mattered....in final
 
Grimes is a very good player but injury has robbed him of continuity and he was still trying to regain touch when we just happened to play our first final in 12 years.
Least of our worries.
 
Dylan Grimes is an absolute ripper. Not his best day today, but the delivery into the forward line from the rampaging Carlton midfield made it impossible to stop leads in the second half.
 
Grimes has only played 25 games and will be better with another pre season under his belt. Hopefully he has used up all his bad luck.
 
Not a good game today. I still think that if he can stay fit he will be a champion. But I'm ok with him staying fit and just being All Australian. Like say, Eric Mackenzie.

Just kidding; Mackenzie would give leprosy sores.

Agreeing with Dyer'ere on every thread today. Where have you been all my life.
 
Grimes did some great work in the game and remember he has only played 26 odd games.
 
Betts was definitely the wrong match-up for him. No idea why Hardwick thought that was a good idea.

Potentially having Shaw and Martin at the same club could be disastrous.

Maybe we should sign up Ben Johnson as well while we are at it.
