Super point. It's all about image at AFL HQ. More I see us the more I credit the back line as " the reason" for our season.

A solid granite backline (most games) is the reason, along with an improved midfield with greater depth, plus improved nippy small forwards. But BL is the foundation wall and springboard.

Stood up when the Hawks got a slight sniff with that set up from half back. Is a seriously good player.

Has the courage and poise of Duncan Kellaway and a slightly better kick than Duncan Kellaway. Feared we'd never see the best of him after they sent him off to see the Wolfman in Germany.

I have loved Grimes for years and he is now starting to show how good he is with a good run with injuries. He was a star yesterday - the general off half back. Loved his game! He is finding belief and it is showing in his game. Him and Rance and Astbury would have to be the best back three in the business I reckon.
