Dylan Grimes JDM

Ok I get it now. Membrey was lucky that Grimes is such a tough bastard and got up otherwise if he had a glass jaw like Lamb then he would have got 6 weeks.

Love this bloke, you at least know that he tries his guts out.

Pity a few more of his team mates can't show the same ferocity for the jumper.

Yep. Epitomised by having to have a concussion test after being crunched last week and in the 3rd, again went back with the ball knowing there was a man coming the other way, Josh Walker crunched him big time, but not once did Grimes seem to consider pulling out of the contest or bracing, he was just concerned with taking the mark.

You'd have forgiven him for second guessing the contest after last week, but went just as hard as normal knowing he would have to take the whack.

He got smashed in that contest. Impact happened right in front of me and I feared the worst..
However Dylan immediately bounced back onto his feet like a cat and went looking for the next contest.
No fuss and tough as teak.

Great to hear McCrae believes we have a Grimes clone in Garthwaite, neally as good I'd be wrapt.

Hope he gets Cameron or Green this week.

I was on the opposite side of that contest and feared the worse.

Didn't want to come off and when he ran to our side where the bench was there was warm applause for him but some of us said there is brave and there is insanity in what he does.

Hasn't changed. Has always been the same Grimes but gee.

Human wrecking ball.

Seems like he and Rance have a weekly contest about who can run straighter and faster at humans in other jumpers.

They both had a crack almost at the same time on who could knock Stevie J into next week.

Yeah I felt really sorry for StevieJ getting crunched again and again like that.

:hihi

Very happy the club persisted with Grimes and Dave through their continual injuries
