Probably still the worst performed team since1980, excluding Fitzroy, certainly of teams in the comp since then. We have been well and truly sh!t. That the last four years made finals 3 times without winning is a highlight shows how truly crap we have been.

Only one way to change that.
Actually Fitzroy have played in more finals and won than Richmond since 1982. We are the worst performed team in the AFL /VFL in the last 35 years.

Doesn't surprise me Saigon.

Actually, no they haven't.
1983: 0 wins, 2 losses
1984: 1 loss
1986: 2 wins, 1 loss

Total: 3 finals series, 6 finals, 2 wins, 4 losses

Richmond: 5 finals series, 9 finals, 2 wins, 7 losses.

Yep, the only way to change not winning is to win. Changing the coach might help that. But it might not too.

Better winning average >:D

Well while you're cherry picking which years to count you could always cross out Richmond's 2001, 2013-5 because Fitzroy weren't in it.

Don't ever let the facts get in the way of a good whinge! Bulldogs took 62 years to win their second flag and a lot of them didn't spend 62 years yelping!

If Dusty indicates to the Club his leaving do they make a big play at Fyfe? If we have a poor year I'd be taking the 3 first round picks we have to the draft, if we make finals I reckon I'd go hard for Fyfe

while I won't say no to Fyfe, topping up is a bit of a waste of time anyway. there is no chance of a flag in the next 5 years.

technically Fitzroy has a superior winning percentage.

Technically, an apple is not an orange.

That doesn't make sense. Both were football clubs playing the same code in the same league under the same rules and conditions. Are you suggesting that the only comparisons we can make regarding the RFC will be against the RFC? I guess it's a draw then.

Aside from that, neither club is an orange or an apple. For the time period referenced, both clubs were cheese sandwiches.

Worst performing club since Fitzroy , how do you figure that. The histroy books record flags and where you finish on the ladder , or are you making things up to suit your own agenda ::)

It's common knowledge. Fans deserve so much better and we are the only reason the club still exists. The afl don't care how much of a joke we are because we all pay up and then go to games as well. I wish I was making it up mate.

Some people have short memories.

For a time we actually were worse but for those laboring the point, we aren't faring too much better!

It makes perfect sense. I replied to a post stating that Fitzroy had won more finals than Richmond since 1982, showing that they hadn't. Winning percentage is a totally different thing.
