Don't think Dusty gives a *smile* about AA teams and I don't either, AA teams who are they going to play against? England, France ?? Reckon Dusty would say, good another wankfest I don't have to go to.

Personally I think the 300th at one club is important to him.
Can't see him leave

Cotch and Jack would have been in his ear saying you’re 300th next year, one club Tigers legend.
Your legacy at one club is forever.

Reckon next year and 300 is an absolute lock

Then it’s quite feasible for Dusty to get to 350 with some good footy over the following seasons - and have his own farewell game - ideally in September ‘26

Imagine celebrating your 300th game at the Gold Coast in front of 321 people ?

The conversations to be had with Dustin (and presumably his manager) once the new coach is appointed are these in my view:
- do you want to remain a Richmond player for 2024? His answer may depend on who’s appointed coach, but I’d expect that to be Yes.
- Beyond 2024, how much longer do you want to & think you can play for? I’d think he’s got three years of quality football left (barring anymore serious injuries), but what does he think?
- What can Richmond offer you to extend your contract to the end of 2026? Presuming he wants to stay, surely this is sensibly negotiable.
- Assuming you want to stay until the end of 2026, would you like to be Club Captain? If he says Yes, I’d agree to it and we’ll worry about the media rubbish later - our current Captains are hardly in the media every week. He’s a natural leader looking on from the stands.

If he agreed to the captaincy, I’d have Liam Baker appointed Vice Captain for a logical transition into 2027.

Mature discussion ahead between club and perhaps now unarguably our greatest ever player.

Agree. Perhaps unarguably!

Can’t believe that the ‘media’ , Tom Browne & Barrett are still going on with this!

Its like they want this to happen.

Barrett’s logic was the story won’t go away until the end of the trade period.

Do you think he will leave?

No.

But the story won’t go away.

Story wont go away until the Tiger King has retired after becoming another 300 gamer, decorated by 3 Normies a Brownlow, AA's, Players Association Awards and 3 Premiership medals.

The greatest player to ever wear the RFC guernsey.

Once he's retired they will then start the willl he come out of retirement to go to the GC or Collingwood or the Swans,.......nailed on to happen.

Wankers.

It can be put to bed I guess ?

Understand the story won’t go away.

I can see Sydney asking the question as they seem likely to have the cap space..?

It’s just going to be a tough 5-6 months.
