My son gets RFC instagram feed and he showed me a clip titled something like 'you can argue with Dusty in bubble soccer'
I am techno-spaso, so i cant post a link or anything, but check it out.
Its hilarious, but also a little worrying.
he could have been out till round 11 with whiplash the way he gets lined up (whose in the bubble that does the arguing??) and his bubble goes flying.

The club should only pay what they think he is worth. If he wants more, then let him go. Close one door, you open another. Put the money into player recruitment and development to improve the depth of the club, and this problem will disappear. Players that think they can hold the club to ransom don't belong at the RFC. Not that I'm saying that about Dusty. It applies to all.

Didn't say he was. I'm responding to others who say he is. And how did it go last time we negotiated his contract? And I'm applying this to all players. I don't care who they are.
We can take off $2 million of the salary cap with getting rid of players that are not integral to the club

The scary thing about this group, turk-d is that some deluded punters keep insisting we've got a top four n premiership quality list. Of this group, there's only Lennon n Broad that haven't been around more than four years. Hamster is our first ruck, Shedda is talented but erratic n Hunt is a back up fill in player, the rest are pretty meh but mature senior players.turk-d-tiger said:

Wouldn't be hard to make up close 2 mill worth of salary cap space with a bit of an extra clean out, problem is we could bring in kids n still have to meet the cap requirements or pay overs to entice quality from other clubs.
Big pay rise coming in for the players soon, we're gunna get screwed over giving pay raises to mediocre fringe players.
The thing is with players like these i would just give them $100k-$120k and thats all not a dime more

Problem is ya need way way more than ten players and a tribe of nuffers to get above the arse end of the ladder turk-d. Clubs use thirty and more players each and every year, the really good clubs can manage with injuries to their best players because their extra players are fairly decent. There's a heap of our players outside our best dozen that are fairly bloody ordinary and we get found out every single time we have a few injury or form issues.turk-d-tiger said:
When there's injury or form issues the coaching staff can do no more than play the best of a poor lot n hope they can contribute. Core of the problem stems from the recruiting and there's generally a three to five year lag between recruiting and delisting, or being a regular reliable player. A couple of years of ordinary recruiting or misses in a specific area can seriously haunt the list five years later.Rancey18 said:
