Maybe true of the past but not in the last couple of years. Highly desired specimen. I just don't think Carr has had to do too much of his own door-knocking.

Not compared to Alex at least.

That wasn't the leadership group he met with, that was all of North Melbournes members that he met with. I can see how you could get confused, there were only 6 people in the room, including Dusty.

Did they check the toilets? ;D

Apparently Met with the north leadership group again.
I'm not sure who in Norths leadership group we are targeting but you have to admire Dusty's determination to help the Tigers get their man!

Damian Barrett saying Martin deal done. To be signed in coming weeks. 6-7 years. A lot of work done by Brendan Gale selling it to Martin that being a one club player will open up greater opportunities Post football. Club organising this as well for him. Almost like third party payments but all above board. Martin and Carr happy with this. Deal done.

cool, hope you're right. Haven't bought into this much because no point worrying too much about what you can't control, but throughout the feeling I had was that Ralph, Dusty, his Dad whoever, were discounting the weight of being a Tiger legend. Its worth more than 10-15% a year or $600K over 4 years or whatever. But I could be wrong, and its their right to discount it if they want to.

Contract talk to the side....hope he keeps his head Geelong are going to
Come for him tomorrow IMO. Careful of your fends mate.

I dont understand the notion that geelong will particularly come for him.

If Dusty becomes ineligible for the brownlow, Danger doesnt get wildcard eligibility :headscratch

Dusty will just keep doing what he does: fending blokes off, pinpointing 55m passes, and giving pesky taggers trying to get a rise, the white shark stare and a grin.

Just heard Chocco on the all women sports panel 'sideliners' show ABC TV. Said he had a scoop, had been chatting online to Dusty's dad 'deciding what Dusty should do next year'. That's all he said, panel pressed him saying 'that's not a scoop', he said 'that's all you're getting, you'll have to invite me back'.

edit, funny how I said 'all women sports show', I'd never say 'all bloke sports show'.

It seems the reporters claiming it's a done deal might be getting their leaks from different sources.

the Carr statement reads

" no decision has been made, as Dustin made clear at the start of the year, there'll be no decision until the end of season"

" Dustin hasn't said if that's home and away or finals"

Especially since there is no such thing as gender anymore :hihi I might be a helicopter today.

The Dusty saga will drag on and on :sleeping
Carr said Dusty hasn't said whether he'll decide end of the home away season, final series, nfl season or Premier League season 8-

If he truly waits until the end of finals to actually make the decision it would be one hell of a selfish act in a team sport. Richmond would need more time than that to secure some what of a replacement.

At least we know from recent reports that Richmond has done everything in its power to get him to stay. If he does leave after all this then so be it.

I know a few have posted its done. But until that contract is actually signed and lodged, then it ain't done!

Everyone is sitting back thinking it's out of us and north.
I Guarantee Collingwood and Essendon are circling

It would be fun to scroll back through this thread and list all the "He's gone" posts but I fear it will exceed the post size
