That wasn't the leadership group he met with, that was all of North Melbournes members that he met with. I can see how you could get confused, there were only 6 people in the room, including Dusty.

A lot of work done by Brendan Gale selling it to Martin that being a one club player will open up greater opportunities Post football. Club organising this as well for him. Almost like third party payments but all above board. Martin and Carr happy with this. Deal done.

If this is the case; people bag Carr but hard to argue that he hasn't done an outstanding job for his client.

No doubt he has. AFL is so far behind other sports when it comes to things like this. We expect our favourite player to play for the love of it only. At the end of the day they are sports people who play for 2 things -
success and money

How hard could it be? Dusty would be courted by almost every club. It's not hard to hold off on a deal and wait for the offers.

Maybe true of the past but not in the last couple of years. Highly desired specimen. I just don't think Carr has had to do too much of his own door-knocking.
