Dusty is threatening to go apesh!t.

and ra ra vlastuin and the artful dodger back to cover gunston and rioli.

I reckon we can do the hawks. Jack had a knowing grin on 360 the other night.

If Alex Rance hadn't copped two weeks may get 4 goals closer, but as it is, Dawks will only win by 8. Especially coming off a loss, looking for payback over last year's game, plus with Newbie and Foley on board there to give them the inside info on our strategies.

hawks arent really setting the world on fire. hodge, ruffy out. Lewis struggling. They aint what they used to be, as gws demonstrated.

sure, it'll take Edwards, Lids, Dusty, Jack, Ivan all to have blinders. But its gonna happen sometime soon I reckon.

Dimma might say "go out there and do whatever you want". and the boys might party like its 1999.

Im serious.

Last year's win against the Hawks was probably Dimma's finest hour as a coach. At least he'd see it that way, I almost guarantee it.

That game was won with a hyper example of the 'secure the ball' approach. I reckon he'll go to that well again.

Expect a lot of presses and sideways chipping 85m out from goal.

Hawks are very ordinary. Old and in cruise-mode. I don't think they'll make the 8. Don't think we'll win though.

Have a look at their next 5 or so weeks. The Hawks will be fine.

Like your work easy. I'm also the eternal optimist but I think there is something in the wind this week. ;D

Geez, tough crowd. They'll make the 8 easily.

Yeah they'll probably fall in from muscle memory, but they look very ordinary to me, very ordinary, and I reckon they could miss altogether.

Yeah, odd post.

Much better chance of winning their 4th flag in a row than missing the 8.

the bookies are still scared of 'em. Im not really.

If our top 6 blokes can find form, and our bottom 6 stay on two feet for most of the night, I reckon we can do it :hihi

anyway back to dusty. The headline saturday needs to read "Cobweb Covered Hawks get Dusty'd"

.....

The game was also "won" by Rioli missing two easy set shots at goal in the last quarter, but we won't let that cloud our vision, will we?

You can say that about any close game , woulda coulda shoulda. But we won that one, plenty where we didn't as I'm sure you're well aware.

Our best by the proverbial length. Massive half, if he can add 10% on that and drag a few along for the ride we could be a sneaky show.
