3/4 time ? I saw it but it didn't look like lack of respect to me. It seemed more like when you are telling off a little kid and they look down at their shoes. I think he was more embarrassed. At the end he did make eye contact when he nodded yes or something affirmative.

That's how I read it too. I also thought Dimma made an effort (unsuccessfully) to hide it from the rest of the team and the cameras he was reading Dusty the riot act.

Thanks fellas. I was told about it in a text but didn't see it myself, hence the question.

I saw it differently, I saw it as petulant. It looked like Dimma was trying to talk to him away from the group but Dusty wanted to appear like he was too cool for school or just being ignorant. He did appear to give a token "yes" or head nod at the end.

Whatever it was, it didn't work. He was as *smile* in the last quarter as he was in every quarter for the past 3 weeks.

Cut him free for a while, let him deal with his stuff, give his spot to a kid and make him earn it when he comes back.

Agree entirely. We have been soft on him for too long.

Depending an whats going on behind the scenes, it wouldn't surprise me.

Given that he is paid some $600,000 per year to play 2.5 hours of football for
23 weeks of the year, I'd say he needs to be bluntly told to pull his head over
his father, get real and start playing football.

If he can't or won't do that, then I would have NO hesitation in trading him
come seasons end.

No room for Prima Donna's at Richmond whatsoever.

Supposed to be a bull or so we thought
Must be played 90% of the time primarily in the guts then resting forward
None of this doing a Vickery on a forward pocket or lazing on the HBF crap

So Dusty has become a half forward flanker only?

Dimma is Terry Wallace 2.0. Flankers everywhere. It's downright strange.

Body on the ground, heart and mind in NZ. Screwing his 2016.
Very true. So he has to get professional and focus on his job but he also needs to be played midfield or forward not kicking out from FB like he did a few times last week. Too many players being played out of position when desperation sets in.

Said it elsewhere but will say it again here.

The club should seriously look at trading Martin. Offers nothing to a rebuilding list. No leadership on or off the field and his output doesn't justify the hand-holding needed by the club just to keep him functioning.

Will easily get us a high first round pick. Doubt the club have the courage to do it though...

I'll say it again too, we need more good players, not less.

We'd only pick up a Conca type for the pick anyway.

Dusty has had a great last 2-3 years and has offered plenty on the field. Good article today on the fox sports site about the difference this year where he has gone from statistically the best one on one player in the competition in the last 3 years to having only had one such contest in 5 games! Something is not right and the only thing that has changed is the deportation of his Dad. This kid is not a robot and whatever we think of his Dad the only conclusion I can come to is that he has been badly affected by it.

The club and his teammates have invested a lot in Dusty and he has repaid the faith for a few years now including a 2015 where he got over 20 votes in the Brownlow. Personally I am cutting him slack for the moment in the hope that he can get his head together because that's the issue imo.
