Dustin Martin

I thought Dustin Martin was awesome today. Quick ball use keeps them off him. And evasion as the rule not the exception gives him the nanosecond to aim. Some of his ball use was historic. The bloke's a god.

How good was he when beating 2 on the HF flank in the last, then hitting Jack lace out on the lead. Divinity.

Kept the ball in too, compared to most who want a breather and let it go OOB.

He was out of position but still a certainty to beat them. (Two's never enough.) :)

He's just not a naturally defensive player. That said his tackling has gone up a notch and I think he led for "pressure acts" at one stage last week. I still worry when I see him in a defensive area, I can't blame him for the last goal. If we're relying on Dusty to play defensive and lock down in the last minute then the problem is in the box not on the field.

Cost us the game IMO... ball watching instead of bodying neale.

What baloney. Playing soft bruise free footy for 3/4ers cost us the game. 8 tackles in the 3rd quarter even though we couldn't get the ball.

It's not like he's winning games of football for us. Price decreasing IMO.

Someone will throw big money not matter how he performs for the rest of 2017.

Dusty probably would have got to Neale but for a great block by the big GIANT!. Other defensive structures in that 21 secs let us down.

He bloody near won the game for us in the last, can't blame him for not being everywhere in the last 20 seconds. Be about the last player I'd point the finger out for the latest debacle.

Think Dusty is just going through the motions waitng for years end then will move on. Tigers aint what they used to be. Too much emphasis on strutting out the up market image & that aint his lot. A move north to Swans would not surprise me.

Heh heh, imagine how good he would be if he wasn't going through the motions.
