Careys article all fine, as he paints both sides of chasing money vs success. But the last line "he owes the Tigers nothing" is discraceful

Carey is in the long line of Richmond haters.
The day after he got thrown out from North. One of his first comments was he isn't interested playing for Richmond.
Martin owes everything to Richmond.

No one ever seems to notice that Hawthorn had the pick of Jack Riewoldt or Mitch Thorp. Both highly regarded, Tasmanian ,like for like tall forward options, who would go early in the draft. Hawthorn took Thorp, allowing Jack to fall to us a bit later. Hawthorn got 2 games and 1 goal out of Thorp, we've had 202 games,438 goals and a Coleman medal out of Jack and still a few seasons left in him.
O'Rourke is another, poor deal

Going back in years , Beau Dowler

Every club has them, some more than others of course

Very true.

But the media have a habit of only highlighting these poor trades when the team involved starts losing consistently. Before the Hawks 0-3 start to the season, every commentator have mentioned what brilliant trading it was to bring in Jaeger and Tom Mitchell, completely ignoring what they had to give up for them.

Now the Hawks are in free fall, all of a sudden those same commentators are starting to mention the large price they paid to bring those very same players in.

Nah just hard tagged. Robinson is good in that role.

If his contract was going up 50k every dominate game, tonight it went down 100k.

Was definitely not moving well today.
Might have been in the second half, however think he just had a mare, just didn't look on fwiw.

Good game to have a bad one though

He is human, that's all. He brushed off the broken cheekbone two weeks ago but he was probably concussed in that game too. Most players who are concussed need a few weeks to get back to normal. Once the pressure was off in this game, he started to drift along. He made a bit of an effort at the start of the last quarter then lost interest.

He will be fine.

It seems Martin is continuing to learn how to exert influence on a match even when the hard tag is being applied. His efforts against the Lions weren't all that productive for the team. Opposition teams will now apply hard tags to Martin, rotating negating shutdown type players through him if necessary in efforts to quell his output.

Was getting a a decent rub in his abductor area 3q?? Post that looked ginger and was running at 60-70% capacity. Came back on so hopefully something he can get right over the next 8 days.

Thursday and Friday night games are usually his best.
But Sunday games are his worse. After 2 nights of going out

Name the top 5 taggers in the comp..... i cant think of one. Don't think this type of player truly exists anymore.
Dusty has been up for a month or more (JLT included). Was bound to have a quiet one.

Did look disinterested in parts, and that doesnt seem to be his charecter, so given he was rested for long periods, and the conjecture about his groin, i'd say he was probably injured.

Not sure if a fit, firing and fired up Dusty can be tagged by ANYONE!!

A Tagger didn't stop him, but the hangover over powered him.
