Draft/Trade Strategy 2023

Very little history of trading with the Hawks. Billy Nicholls is the last I can remember and Alan Martello decades earlier. Probably been others but I can’t recall them at the moment

He shows a bit, 54 goals in 48 games. Perhaps just needs a new environment. We need another big key target and he won't cost much. Will support Lynch. He's big enough and a good height. Still only 23, scope for improvement.

Born: 11 July 2000 (age 23 years),
Height: 1.98 m Position(s):
Key Forward Date joined: 2021 (Hawthorn Football Club)
Current club: Hawthorn Number: 23

The best was Barry Rowlings, a premiership gun.
Back in the day of genuine rovers, he and Flea were a tremendous duo, helped along by Mark Lee who was the premier ruckman of the early 80s.

Great but What the hell do we have to bargain with??

Hopefully it’s grigg collins type scenario

They can have Ralphsmith for him if they want a player.

His old man played for em.

Least he gets to keep the #23 when arrives, it was probably the part of the deal that clinched his desire to move :))

Ralphsmith can got there..

Hawks might have their eyes on someone like Judson.

If they want Judson then they can gagf,
I reckon HRS is a good equal to trade but it won’t happen.

Maybe the Ty Vickery deal sort of counts. Pretty sure it was worked out se we'd get good compo
