Astbury coming second!

Players with the most goals kicked on them in 2018

21 – Liam Jones (Carlton)
13 – David Astbury (Richmond)
12 – Steven May (Gold Coast)
12 – Tom Barrass (West Coast)
11 – Jacob Weitering (Carlton)
11 – Connor Blakely (Fremantle)
9 – Tom Clurey (Port Adelaide)
7 -Nathan Brown (St Kilda)
7 -Lynden Dunn (Collingwood)
7 – Jeremy Howe (Collingwood)

Surprising if true.

I'd like to see a break down.

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

Players with the most goals kicked on them in 2018?

How do they qualify that with so many goals kicked with no contest at all?
Closest player?

Lima Jones could be 30 goals from 5 games this week

I'm a fan.

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

So much hard work in defence again today. Even got a bit adventurous at times going forward. an integral part of the best defence in AFL today

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

So solid.

Don't remember him playing a game where his opponent played better.

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

Astbury is one of our toughest players. So brave in the air, and his judgement is better than most forwards. Has come a long way over the last two seasons.

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

So solid and vice like hands!!
Gun, to think we nearly gave him up to a Bris for a bag of chips a couple of years ago

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

A solid 14 marks today and 100% disposal efficiency.

Him and Grimes fly under the radar in our backline, but as a whole they make the most formiddable backline that i have seen in tiger colours.

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

Just a bloody big rock in a rock solid defence is *smile*. No fuss no flair just gets in n does what's needed.

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

Very safe pair of hands.
Great player who puts in each week.

Not even half as brave as Collingwood though... let’s get that straight ;D

They shoulf just make our backline the AA backline

I concur.

Who else would replace Grimes or Astbury in our back line? I don't think there are many (if any) better options in the AFL for their positions

Re: David "Dave" Astbury

I had him in the best 5 players on the ground today

Where are all the critic's that wanted him delisted and were posting every week how slow he was and wasted pick and would never make it.

Gone quite
