Gutted. End of an era.
Me too. Flat. As someone who has experienced burnout, I reckon you come back better after you've taken stock and rested and recovered. Part of me wishes there could be a mechanism for mental health leave and he could come back, but a bigger part thinks all good things must come to an end.

I will always feel enormous gratitude to Dimma for his role in giving me so much joy over the premiership years the same as I feel for Tommy.
Always a Tiger
Thanks Dimma

Some of you guys should be happy, you'll finally get to see what we can do without the "worst gameday coach in the game".

I for one am shocked by this news and I'm sure the playing group will be too. It appears to be true as appearing in more media outlets, so a massive thankyou to the great one. What a ride its been. Will go down as a Tiger and AFL hall of fame coach and deservedly so. Thanks for everything Dimma, you'll always be loved by MOST of the Tiger army.

He said if it came time where it was obvious that a rebuild was required, he would go.
I think with our loss on the weekend, we've had to make a decision, do we eek out 8th place or rebuild. Maybe this is a sign of the clubs strategy.
Thanks Dimma. Thanks for everything.

Think he lost the players with his off-field antics a while ago.
I have always had this underlying feeling.

The club never returned post 2020 to be anywhere near what it was.

The connection between the whole club and players was not there and has never been there since.

That said it doesn't diminish what Dimma achieved up to 2020 he made a rabble a powerhouse.

Will be an immortal of the Club and a legend of the AFL , blessed to have had Dimma as our coach .

Not sure why , however I’m not shocked and not shattered , Dimma got 100% out of the 22 that took the field , and once a minute attention to detail is missed or a we tad of passion has gone we suffer greatly. I think we need a refresh not that it needed to be Dimma , however it is what it is and who knows this may just be the start of the next Dynasty

Yeah. I'm not shocked at all.

Pretty flat if this is true as seems likely.

Thanks for everything.

Need the next McRae out there.

I don't think so. Every player that has retired started to cry when they mentioned Dimma. The players love him.

It’s the right time for this if the dynasty is over as we need a 10 year coach to take us through the next era. No point Dimma hanging in for 2 more.
