What's this?
in the presser he said he had a chat with Benny. I am sure he has plenty of chats with Benny. why mention it in the presser talking about where we are at.? Dimma selling the sizzle. He has the runs on the board so he is entitled to and has earned the respect to right the ship.

I'd hope hard conversations are being had atm. Hasn't been the start that was expected. Far from it.

Thanks for everything Dimma but its time. Hope he can see the writing on the wall and makes the right decision to walk.
Surely has enough money now to buy a farm and load it with his favourite crops and smoke the night away

Not Dimma‘s fault we’re missing easy shots for goal. They are momentum killers.

At 3/4 time last week we had 34 I50. That is a massacre. Ten goal hiding. We were competitive in clearance, maybe even. We were getting belted in possessions and smashed in tackles. We were getting the mother of all hidings in uncontested.

Hopelessly outworked by a mediocre side.

I took an interest in Sonsie’s running patterns. Just to observe. I was amazed to see him basically non compliant. Just a kid. But overawed and clearly out of his depth on the night. Running patterns? He didn’t run.

Cumberland was nearly as bad. A much more mature player but with compliance issues. Let us not speak of Ben Minson.

This all falls on the coach. It is inevitable that smart journalists will read the numbers and the clear lack of buy in by a few and spin it as the coach losing the players. Dimma does not like this and is continuing an us against them narrative within the awe four walls.

We got some action after 3/4 time with 19 I50. It’s like we finally turned up. But we were still cleaned up on the outside.

My take on the game was that we were outworked and had many players on the park not at AFL level. Todd Eltons. Matchlosers.

In his post match Dimma closed with a comment that struck a chord. Having defended the quality of talent we fielded he said something like “I’m an eternal optimist.” He was very grim. Rightly.

In this pre match he again defended the talent at the club. Said we could bounce back. But unashamedly said that we need some to return from injury.

RFC has eyes wide open on our current situation. Players who will not run will not play.

We may be *smile* but we can’t be outworked like that.

Now. An Oxford Man said to me at half time that we were flat and would run some lactic out and lift after half time.

I didn’t agree. My diagnosis was lack of talent. And disorganisation.

Did we rally in the final quarter because we loosened up and finally ran?

Or because we finally bought in?

Does an open eyed RFC abandon risk in the absence of sound fresh talent? We can defend margin like no other.

Or do we play the kids who can’t run and destroy the morale of the willing?

I’m calling the GCS game an aberration of workrate. But I am alarmed.

This week will tell all Jack. The last few weeks prior to the GC game we worked hard but were outclassed in the end.

But he's an unimaginative coach afraid to make moves....and he doesn't have any good Assistants around him...

Like most of us Dimma was in much better form this week after a win in his post game presser.
Supportive of Cumberland. Taranto & Hopper too.
Gave Corn a whack too reminding him of his Prestia not worth pick 6 comment.
Good stuff coach.

Did Cornes say that about Prestia? It makes his decision to double down after 3 Premierships look even stupider.
