Bairstow has to be dropped. Foakes in. You can generally wear a couple of missed if you bat well, to be doing neither the keeping nor the batting well, means you aren't just adding nothing, your position is a big negative. Foakes in at Old Trafford please.

Woakes always starts a bit shaky, but if he can get in he's a fairly good batsman, averages 28 in tests
